you need a base game on steam to buy dlcs

Sometimes it works, but most often it works if you have the base game on steam and then buy the DLC elsewhere (or through the game itself, you can do that with stuff like Dragon Age and Dirt 3). But typically you have to have the same version of base game and dlc. And you can't buy any DLC on Steam if you don't own the base game on Steam.

Oh right, totally forgot Steam won't let you buy DLC if you don't already own the base game. Thanks everyone!

Well, the story is obviously not finished yet and ends on a giant cliffhanger. But what is there of it, is extremely interesting and entertaining.

Season 2 will most likely release at some point, since its on hold due to health issues of the writer and director, and not due to the bad sales of the first season but there still is a real possiblity that it might never get finished, depending on how many seasons they were initally planning.

So, yea, what is there of the game is absolutely recommended, even more so at that price, but you gotta decide for yourself if you can deal with the waiting for S2 and the eventual risk of never seeing the ending.

Hmm, it is tempting but it would suck to be invested in the story only for S2 to never happen. May get it when there is at least some sort of confirmation of it happening.

Nuuvem gave me credit for Mighty No. 9. Used it to get Song for a Hero. Even though I don't speak Portuguese I'm sure it will have a better story, VA and gameplay.

Most of them are super cheap, I'm already past the point of no return with Kingdom's of Amalur, stick of truth and divinity. Maybe I can hold off on pillars of Eternity for a complete edition with the white March expansion pass? Otherwise I'm not sure what else I could drop. I'm working 40 hours but I'm home from school so I still have tons of free time.

Looks like the bundles+normal games in my cart kept killing the browser (chrome and the Steam client browser too) when I tried to go to the finalizing purchase page.
I'm not sure why, maybe because the bundles break the purchase page? Had to split my purchase in two, one for the various single games and 1 with all the 0,04-0,40€ trash bundles. Such a weird thing to happen.
