Well, you would need to reguarly visit both to say that with any certainty. This reminds me of Deus Ex where the game actually reprimanded the player for that.

Yeah, I've always loved Mario Tennis GBC, too. I also have Sega Superstars Tennis and Virtua Tennis 4 on the 360 and I love both of them. Wouldn't mind getting a good one for the PC. Tennis Critters (demo) and Game, Net & Match remain the gold standards on the PC for me.

2nd regret of the sale: Dragon Fin Soup

This game has a very charming art style and in theory it should be good

but the reality is that the controls are weird and clunky (even in the options menu, oh my god the options menu), the UI can be annoying as well as the constant prompt about you being sure you want to every time you try to enter a house/step on a teleporter/talk to a merchant and the game still has crash to desktop bugs which were reported last year.
I spent 4 hours with it before hitting that bug. Now every time I try to to talk to that NPC to begin that quest, I end up at my desktop, with the constant reminder that I can't refund the game staring me right in the eye

I'd also add the lack of a proper tutorial to at least ease you into the game but, heh, at this point who cares.

thats the nature of those games. you need to do "gold runs", basically just go for gold as much a you can and then die, usually you would clear tghe first level as much as possible getting everything since its the easiest.

My dying light steam icon looks like the below, and it specifically mentions the recent expansion pack The Following.

Also, this page for Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition, says I already own it, and specifically mentions the expansion pack, and it's buggies.

The thing is, I don't have the expansion pack. At least I don't have the option as shown below. Why'd they go out of their way to make it look like I own the expansion pack?

Am I missing something?

I played the demo for Lightning Returns on PS3 way back in the day and was intrigued by the combat system. The only JRPGs I've ever beaten were P3P and P4G and the only other I've put any amount of time into was Ni No Kuni, but that clicked with me somehow.

I'm not sure I feel like going through Lightning's whole "saga" and from what I've gathered, the story/characters aren't exactly great so my question is: am I missing much by jumping into LR? Obviously, if I like it enough to want to go back and play FFXIII and XIII-2, I'll have had some of the story spoiled but is that even likely to happen? Will I want to go back?

Oh, and another question. I'm working on building my son's first PC with him over the summer. Getting him to do chores for money, learn about savings and then going over all the components, what they do, etc. before actually buying the parts and assembling the box with him. I'm looking to get some starting games for his Steam account. He loves the Lego games so I'm grabbing some of those. Minecraft isn't on Steam (ugh) though I might get him Story Mode (he's watched his preferred YouTubers play through it already and thought it was really cool.) Other than those, I'm looking mainly for stuff we can play co-op that's all-ages or PG-13 level. (He's 10 but we allow him to go a bit above that.) I'd appreciate any help here, too.

Oh yeah, definitely. He plays on PS3 right now and besides the general inferiority of that version, mods are a big draw and probably the single biggest reason he wants a PC. I've actually never played it myself, so I'm looking forward to it as well.

I think it's just meant to convey that there are some enhancements from the Following DLC that got added to the base game. Yes, it's clunky and confusing and not at all clear that you still only own the base game and not the DLC.

Both Divinity and Wasteland 2 got enhanced editions added as separate apps.

Shadowrun: Hong Kong got a few epilogue missions added recently.

Main game once you finish a certain quest in the first big city (more or less the end of the first act I think), starts from the stronghold you get.

It's integrated into the main game. You can choose to explore the new areas after a moment in the quest fairly early on (being vague because of spoilers).

From what I've played, it seems to be worth it, providing you like Pillars. I've enjoyed what I've played so far, but I haven't had time to sit down and get back into it a lot yet.
