Well like I said. I don't know who's responsible for these shootings, but I'm honestly shocked it hasn't happened sooner.
I've always said eventually if nothing changes something like this is bound to happen. Because you have people that are at the brink, that don't give a fuck and want chaos at this point.
I mean look at our politicians, look at how the media handles these things. Tensions are high on both sides.
This is domestic terrorism, what else would you call a mass shooting targeting police officers?

This is absolutely terrifying. I live in Dallas. This isnt what this city, hell this country needs. More gas to the fire is going to end us. I pray they find the shooters and for the family of those officers injured or killed.
The police say that they were in an elevated position. That area is fairly condensed and not many places to hide so I'm holding out hope they didnt get away in the commotion, but it has been long since the gunshots.

Do you think these people would have been able to just unload standing on level ground close by? Sniper doesn't have to be Lee Harvey Oswald style setup. But just an elevated position likely with a rifle with a surprise element. It was targeted and planned.

Considering the number of cops shot, it's very likely that the shooters were in highly advantageous positions, possibly two opposite ones. I doubt it WOULDN'T be snipers.

That's an interesting statement from the chief. I really have to wonder why 3 shot officers are "in critical condition" but only 2 are "in surgery". It's actually worrisome to me that not all 5 are described as "in surgery." The time of the shooting to the time of the statement is too short for a completed trauma operation, when taking into account transport, ED evaluation, etc. Dallas itself has plenty of large comprehensive trauma centers (Baylor, Methodist, Parkland). I know only of one situation where someone shot badly enough to be listed in "critical condition" isn't immediately whisked to the operating room, and that's an isolated headshot. Other reason could be "critical condition" being overly applied.

If this protest was a spur-of-the-moment event in reaction to the recent shootings, I doubt BLM or the recent events were the reason for this attack.
These guys seemed prepared and ready. I can't imagine this being done on a whim. They were likely prepared for any mass event to happen in the area.

This is one of the dozens of possibilities that comes into your head randomly as all of this shit goes down. You never say it out loud because you don't think it will actually happen. You hope it doesn't at least. Doesn't even require you to know who did it either. It's one of those crazy things where it could be anyone in the "fantasy".
