That's not what I'm complaining about. There are plenty of people in this thread complaint about news outlets showing stuff like this. Well, it's their job to do so.

BLM gets blamed when cops get trigger happy and they get blamed when people want accountability. Of course they'll get blamed for this.

I don't see what other outcome you'd get in this situation. Peace and Calm has been preached for 100's of years to people getting shit all over, with no results. I don't think I'm alone, knowing this was going to be the eventual outcome. What is our government going to do about this before it continues to escalate. The police aren't going to take this, and apparently neither are the civilians. Was that a cop that the sniper rushed? Lord.

Honestly, this is my biggest concern here. That, and the fact that every cop in the country will now (legitimately) feel as if they have a target on their back and will likely act even more brazenly.

This is going to make the situation so, so much worse. Especially for black Americans.

Really fucking chilling knowing those shooters were just waiting for a protest to use as cover. It's been only 2 days since the Alton Sterling shooting as well. Evil fucks.

I think you might need to re-word why you liked it being shown like , for example, I enjoyed them showing it because people need to see what happens and get mad about guns or something. Otherwise it might look like, for example, I like seeing people get shot.

Yup the shooter noticed the cop and with zero hesitation immediately moves up on him and flanks him at the pillar. Cop had no chance.

That's a son. Possibly a father, maybe a brother, with friends who will no longer have him in this world. It isn't a fucking group of pixels and an AI. That's a life, and DESPITE what any other asswipe of a cop has done, this man did not deserve this.

That video was fucking eerie. The way the gunman moves so swiftly on the cop is fucking terrifying. Calm, calculated, and with every intent to kill. God fucking dammit.

You can report on something like this without showing it. I'm not going to assume you're lying if you don't show footage of a human being being killed.

Because people shouldn't have to see that on TV unless they choose to. I luckily didn't watch it, but I would be VERY upset if I did. I don't think shock tactics are they way to make people feel something. Empathy and compassion usually handle the duties well.
