They're still fighting/Negotiating with one of the suspects in the garage. He has not been captured.
The seeming military training (shooting accuracy/the way he killed the officer) makes me think that they might have access to bombs, or the know how?

Stay safe Dall-GAF, if you leave anywhere downtown leave (if you are in an area that isn't filled with cops, don't add to the confusion and panic) and come back when the situation is over and the bombs (if they are downtown) are recovered don't take any chances it isn't worth it. sounds like a bluff, there would have been more reports of bombs by now/suspicious objects reported for the last few hours. He wouldn't have been able to secretly plant bombs after the first firefight, and I can't see the bombs not being discovered during the parade.

I'd say that interrogation was just the ramblings of a crazy person if that video didn't show us what looked like a trained and prepared killer.

I feel this Twitter thread should be posted on GAF and share what Dallas PD has been doing. They talk about how much excessive force from officers has dropped and in turn reduced tension and lowered crime and murder rates. Better community policing and proper training has reduced so many bad things.
