That's hyperbole. I don't think it was ISIS and think it's silly to say it might be ISIS. I just also think this thread will get silly if we assert what we don't know with too much confidence and add to any confusion. Just saying it's not a race and I sat through page after page of "Definitely a white guy. Definitely a terrorist" narrative building during the San Bernadino stuff.

People can do waht they want. I gave my opinion. That's the last I'll say on it.

You answered your own question, these cops aren't out there with assault rifles, they have pistols, easily outmatched, easy targets, obviously pre meditated. I wouldn't be surprised if it was tied to BLM because that's not exactly the most organized movement. Do they even have a main figure head? Do all BLM go about their rallies independently?
Is BLM NY on the same page as BLM Canada or California? Not trying to discredit them but I've seen this brought up before on GAF


Edit: not saying they did it sanctioned mind you, it could be two very misguided individuals that will clarify they did it for BLM and someone from that organization will have to, what's the word, denounce it. Or it could be anarchist, anyway I just realized it's not saying Friday and I have work in 3 hours, fuck me

That one seems big but if you watch the entire footage it's just normal gun fire just hitting close range. That one probably hit something else. I mean you never see this type of stuff happening normally since nobody wants ricocheting bullets so close. In this case "Safety" was not a priority.

Do we still not have any word on who the shooters were? The caught two early on correct ? They need to release some details after how crazy last few hours were , damn . We just watched the most random acts of violence with seemingly no context as to why . Hopefully they release some info soon on who these people are , at least a photo of what they look like

The ideal situation would be leaders from tonight's protest being invited to mourn at these officers funerals and sharing a tender moment with the family of the deceased. I don't know how realistic that is.

Oh my god, just woke up to this, what a terrible tragedy... My condolences to the officers families. I'm so confused, did the shooting take place from a building? Read someone mention an officer got shot trying to take him down. Seems everything is over at least...

Did the killers suicide? No arrests?

And as a non American, who is that Hughes guy that people mentioned was pissed. Wow caught the YouTube clip, someone on social media accused a protestor for the shooting? Disgusting, glad he's ok.

Honestly it does seem like information is coming out rather slow, seemed like previous situations like this we had information/context on the shooter/shooters.

I'm sure we will have that in due time, so damn sorry for the officers; shit shouldn't be happening, no one deserves this. I'm hopeful that there will be solidarity after this, but I'm worried that this is just going to cause the divide to widen.

His focus on the PKK and general genocide denialism ought to inform your view. He's a nice guy but with a huge blindspot for one of the largest holocausts in modern human history. The PKK is shit but the Turkish government's stance to the Armenian genocide is is akin to a hypothetical Germany that didn't admit the WW2 holocaust.

That is correct that the weaving move that shooter made in the video is a trained tactic. But, we must keep in mind that things like that can be learned from anywhere on the internet these days. The more suspect thing is how the shooter composed themselves during that shooting before, during, and after that point.

Bombs can be called in legit, or, can be used to cause LE/Military to move in more slowly, cautiously, rather than getting rushed in with flashbangs and pie slicing.

It was said that these guy were wearing body armor right? Looks like the cop might have shot the guy or shot at him cause it didn't seem like he knew the cop was there until it looks like the cop shot at him.

He quickly turned around and made suppressive fire and came from the other side.

The cop didn't see him move to the other side because he took cover.

That man practiced that move and tactic several times and I wouldn't be surprised if he had been on the receiving end of gunfire before. There was ZERO hesitation and he eliminated his target instantly once he became aware of it.
