I don't think it works correctly right now. I've curved it perfectly (shimmer and everything) and not gotten the bonus, but randomly when I throw perfectly straight I'll get a curve ball bonus. Kind of weird, but at least it's stopped me from trying to get curve balls, especially since I miss most of the balls that I curve.

Seriously having way more fun than I ever thought I would. Glitches like the gym 1 hp thing aside, I really am diggin it. Its amazing who will show up when you place a lure around. I have a spot near me with 4 pokestops in a line and I walk back and forth to hatch eggs and reclaim them every few minutes. It's a pretty ideal spot and as soon as I pop a lure people start arriving lol.

I live in the, well, hood. My sister and I went out earlier to find even the most toughest looking dudes searching around for Pokémon. This is crazy, lol. Makes me want to get more healthy so I won't be a heap of sweat out there.
 
In the next update for this ap I do hope lures show how much time is remaining on them. I don't want to be in route towards a lure only for it to run out by the time I get there
 
Mentioned that my girlfriend runs a carousel in Savannah that happens to be a Pokestop yesterday. She just texted me to say that work today was wall to wall Pokemon Go players (and to tell me that she just hit level 5 so she can gym battle)

I think we can safely call Pokemon Go the social event of 2016.
 
Really wish the art style of this was more in line with classic Pokemon. I can live with limited features from an early release, but the look/feel comes across as standard, flat, uninspired mobile gaming.
 
So currently have two accounts: Pokemon trainer club acct that I had launch day at level 5 and google account at level 11 which I just used while the trainer club account login was down. Which should I keep? I want the trainer club account for linkups to the games, etc, but is it a waste? It's only 6 levels so I don't know. Are there any indications of an account merge on the horizon?

I was sitting between 2 lures with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle in my range. Nada!

Got a Butterfree though

I honestly feel like if anything Pokemon Go might actually help sell the mainline games at this point.
 
My trip downtown was pretty much a waste of lucky eggs, incense, and my time.

Another gym hp bug prevented me from reclaiming a gym I just lost, though I took another one on mybway back.

The worst was that almost none of my captures finished. It just stayed there, forcing me to restart the app.

Plus side, I managed to catch a Rapidash, hatched a Tangela, and evolved my Machop to a Machoke.

Oh, that's nice. Did she tried yet to use a lure since her business is a pokespot ?
 
well best buy had an awesome trade in deal on older iphones, and I was eligible for an upgrade. Got a 6s Plus for free...and the first thing I downloaded was pokemon...Also, my condo complex is across the street from a Pokestop I mean chruch...Time to go for a walk, and by walk I mean get some pokeballs and catch some more pokemon.

That feeling when you have a gym across the street from your apartment, just out of reach so that you have to go outside, but then try to take the gym for fifteen minutes and barely manage to get one or two fights in before connection errors and then the gym remains completely intact and you have nothing to show for it.

Having the game waste my time like that is so fucking annoying.

Just caught one and was l like, "well this isn't happening for some time". Only to see a gym down the street with a Gyarados already... I was in total disbelief.

This app is unreal so far. I just spent the last two days with the wife cruising to different pokestops and gyms around town. The best part is seeing locations (like a cemetery) that are normally deserted, now filled with dozens of people just in search of items and lures. It's a surreal experience hanging out at a grave catching Pokemon and hanging out with people you've never met and damn is it awesome.

Loving the experience so far... Other than the 1HP glitch. :(
 
In a car as a passenger and I see a SlowBro outline show up. So wanted to tell the driver to turn around lol.

Also got a bike mount for my phone.

This is why I like to go on PokeWalks on my own. :P I want to go chase around certain Pokemon and while my roommates want to play the game, they aren't that into it.
 
I actually can't believe how amazing this is. Friday I was wandering around, caught a few things for fun. Saturday, I chilled with my GF and friend and we played all day, they went for a walk to the park and there were loads of people setting lures and giving those 'knowing nods' to each other. I went for a jog, however, and ended up catching lots of stuff. Reconvened and that night everyone else came to mine and whilst we didn't play it (had a giant beer pong game going on outside) everyone downloaded it and we planned a walk in the local woods. Today, the girlfriend and I walked around my town catching things on the way to and from getting our groceries.

Jesus, this game has been my whole weekend. I live in a really small town but we've got loads of Pokestops and it was so good seeing so many people outside enjoying the great weather.
