I was futzing around with some screenshots I took of Pharah's armor the other night and ended up making this.

Original, intermediary progress pic, final result.

I did a lot of futzing with adding texturing and I think the full res closeups look cool because of it when viewed at full size.

I will say on the topic of Shipping the only one I truly- TRULY disagree with is the Tracer x Widowmaker one.

It makes. no. sense.

Like I get it, it spun off from the reveal cinematic where Tracer was being playful- but Widowmaker was responsible for many Overwatch deaths and up until recently, believed she had killed Ana. Why would she love her?

Hating on Widowtracer? Grab the torches everyone!!

I propose a truce here.

S76 x Mercy was a thing, and Hana is their gremlin. They divorced, and now S76 is working it as a single dad with help from his friends, while Mercy is living her new life with Pharah and shared custody of Hana.

It's my best and final offer, one which I think all will see as fair and just for both sides.

This is now canon for me, just find a way to put Symmetra into the mix and I'm set.

You know, it's possible that she might like Pharah to be with Mercy. She always wanted her to live a more peaceful life, and Angela is the staunchest advocate for peace and kindness in the game. Every quality that Ana wanted for Fareeha, Mercy possesses. She's the most opposite of a soldier that she can get while still being in the fight. And she knows that Angela is the best combat partner Fareeha could have with her ability to fly, heal and empower her. Angela aren't even that far apart in years. The only bad angle to this is the co-worker thing, but it's not like Angela was a founding member or anything. She joined in later and Ana is over 20 years her senior. It's perfectly possible that she looked at Angela as her junior rather than her equal, whatever their rank.

Grandma Ana taking care of D.Va and the rest of the kids is a better meme than her being overprotective of Pharah is all I'm saying here.

At MOST Reinhardt and Ana. But that was more a dialogue praising both how good they look at their ages than anything.
And yes, Blizzard has been careful with this because they kniw their fanbase are going to pair everything with everything, and prefer to have everyone happy. Same with sexualities.

To be fair that is exactly what things that are catering to shipping do. Leave everything as vague as possible to not "sink any ships" as it were.
