Injustice 2: Two new characters to be unveiled at Comic-Con (July 22nd).

Flash is DC's fifth most important hero, which is a pretty big deal considering the dozens (hundreds?) of heroes it has under its belt. Plus, Flash has the second best rogues gallery in all of DC after Batman. Thawne isn't getting in on day one, but I don't think a third Flash villain would be overkill as DLC.

I heard Phil Lamar is going to be at the panel. I know he's Aquaman but...I'm still hoping.
You could add 5 Flashes to the game and they could all be different. Speed may be their powers, but the way they fight will be easy to diversify. Or else fighting games with a focus on martial arts styles would have a hard time diversifying all the characters whose sole abilities are to punch and kick.

They can use them whenever they want. DC has always held onto the rights for those characters.
Personally though, I'm holding out for Judge Dredd and Hellboy as guest characters. Voiced by Karl Urban and Ron Pearlman respectively.

I think Blue Beetle III would fit in a fighting game well.
I wasn't sure they would of allowed a crossover before. Now it seems more likely.

I think that's Kitana from Mortal Kombat. Ed Boon and NRS always use fake silhouettes to throw people off. The point of those silhouettes might be that we're getting one female character and one male character.
I was thinking the one in the right looked like classic MK1 Sub-Zero/Scorpion

Boon also showed an awful lot of attention at the Kid Flash reveal for the tv show so I'm expecting Wally to make the cut as well.

Like, I'd love to see him in a game (Keanu-stine doesn't count) but I think he'd suit a decent Telltale game or Point and Click or something. Just seems weird for him of all people to be a fighting game, y'know? Saying that, I'd probably buy the game just to play him

Well, the injustice-verse isn't regular DC so it would be fine.
I don't expect Wally to be in, but I do expect most male speedsters to get an alt at least. TV show is big, there's lots of great choices.

For the female character its gonna be either Wonder Woman or Harley Quinn because of their upcoming movies.
For the male character its gonna be Flash because he isnt revealed yet and is rumored to have a cameo in Suicide Squad.
Or its gonna be a new character like a Deadshot, Captain Cold or Doctor Fate.

Other than adding armor and tweaking clashes not much else looks to be changing with it's mechanics to make it easier for people who suck at fighting games. Batman from all the demo footage still has his same moves and combos.

From all that I've seen and heard of the game, they seem to be refining and improving upon the Injustice formula and mechanics, not necessarily making them easier.
I don't think it will be more welcoming, but I still think you should give it a shot. One doesn't have to be good at fighting games to enjoy them.

I think Constantine's lack of decent combat/magic abilities and reliance on wit, subtlety, trickery and his reputation as a complete bastard is kinda fundamental to the character. It's where I feel the new DC version (too much magic), the TV show (too much chanting), and the film (too much Holy Shotgun) fell flat. That's beside the point, of course. It'd just be nice for Hellblazer to be translated to another medium and actually work/be appropriate for once.

Because Wentworth Miller's performance as Captain Cold in the Flash TV series has given the character a lot more recognition than he had before. He's not a guarantee by any means, but if I had to pick someone to replace Killer Frost in this one, it'd definitely be him.
