So contribute art to the thread, and ignore the people talking about shipping. A lot of us who are talking about the pairing stuff are also contributing at the same time.
People are having fun and posting art, if its not to your liking you can find and post what you find yourself. I come in occasionally and only look at the art rather then the discussions so maybe people's conversation can get silly but I have no idea. The shipping stuff doesn't bother me its interesting to see a community ship certain characters together, people are doing no wrong if you have a problem with the threads content take it up with mod.

You misunderstood. I don't have a problem with shipping, I take issue when some of you guys make it all about it. Not all art here is about pairing characters so please don't make them about such. Yes I can scroll over the shipping art, and I do, but I can't ignore every text post in fear of shipping bullshit.
This thread is my source for overwatch fanart. Please don't take that away from me. Like I said, have your fun. I genuinely don't want to disrupt it. Just let us nonshippers enjoy the other aspects of fanart.

Okay, but, here's the thing: nobody is trying to ruin the thread. The people who are here talking about the shipping stuff are also here for all of the art. People (like me) posting shipping artwork are also posting non-ship stuff as well. Nobody is saying anybody has to follow any of the pairing, and (I'm very certain) all of the battles we have about who are the "real" couples are us just having fun with each other.
When I find stuff I think is good for the thread, I post it—and I assume the same is true for the other contributors. If the shipping talk wasn't going on, the thread would have the exact same amount of art in it, it'd just have less activity and overall posts. Unless people are going to say that there should be no conversation at all, then people in an art thread are going to talk about topics relating to that art, and one of the biggest subgenres out there in fan art is the shipping art.
Again, nobody is saying that people who don't care about the shipping stuff have to care. And the best way to help lower the ratio of non-image posts in the thread is to find good art and contribute. Also, NeoGAF is a message forum, not an image forum, so I don't think it's out of place to have conversation happen around those images being posted.
I'm not going to feel guilty for posting shipping art here and talking about it, but I'm going to keep trying to find other art as well to keep the thread alive for you, me, and everyone else.
Urgh, those are some bad alts. Punk has grown on me slightly, but still.

Cause they're not really going for the joke. Just random crack scenarios the artists come up with in their head.
The Genji Butt artist knows his stuff though.
Zarya's is far and away the worst. It just seems so utterly out of character for her.
