Meanwhile, she hasn't said or done shit about any of the ill-defined "issues" she spoke of.

So much influence that Kim, Kanye, and the other people that hate her waited until their fame started to fade to throw the shade for another minute. Scandals with Taylor make cash, scandals with Kanye make laughs.

The only thing she has ever done was contribute to that GLAAD charity song for Orlando Pulse relief. And she still didn't even publicly advertise/hype it so her fans could know about it and her role and buy/donate to the needy LGBT+ community

We don't know because we don't know how he framed the conversation when he started or ended the call. It is easily possible that the crux of it by the end of the call was seeing if she would post it to Twitter. You don't know.

Kanye was handling this classy IMO, but Taylor still hasn't been shut down on her technicalities. Kim might call it an approval phone call in defense mode, while offended Taylor might have heard the song with the bitch word and to her it boiled down to a shady request for her to release it in which he left out something she had certain feelings about (its not unlikely that he could ask her in the phone call somewhere about how he wanted to know if she would release it on Twitter).

Taylor is in the wrong for letting Kanye feel safe over the song, but if that one line set her off, she's still kept her claws on it since it was never shown on the tape.

Well that argument kind of falls apart though since her Grammy speech didn't seem to be concerned at all about that aspect if the song but instead on how hurt she was by someone else claiming credit for her fame. Seems like today is the first time that we're hearing anything about her being offend by being called a bitch.

Didn't she record a song with Kendrick though? Unless she never listened to any of his stuff I'm guessing that she's heard the term used in song form before. >.>

On the way dropping off my girlfriend at work she likes to listen to z100 morning show. Someone brought it up and Elvis Duran brushed it off saying Kayne did this out of context. They are basically going to side with their audience.

Kim and Kanye weren't holding on to the tape because their fame was fading. It was released to coincide with the episode of keeping up that addressed this. Kim released it in multiple snapchats instead of the more convenient youtube to get more followers. Right or wrong, this was a calculated character assassination designed to benefit Kim.

It's wouldn't have been calculated if she stayed on the calculated script she agreed to be apart of. The bullshit picture of her being a victim is the problem here. She even said it herself in the video that the whole thing was supposed to be a "Gotcha" moment, and she was going to laugh about it and hand wave it off... But she didn't... Because she back pedaled and tried to make him seem like the monster who didn't have the decency to let her know that he was writing a song that isn't even about her but uses her name and whatever bull crap excuse she has. Girl bye. I hope Kendrick deletes her number.

I get that this is, like, Christmas come early for the internet, but I doubt that anything is going to come from this scandal. I like all three players here (Kanye, Kim K. and Taylor Swift) and, frankly, scandal is their bread and butter. Eventually, Kanye will say or do something crazy again, Taylor will have another dating scandal and Kim will release naked photos and get into an argument with someone new...and life will move on. I think all three are shrewd business people (well, except I think Taylor and Kim are much more clever and shrewd than Kanye) and they're making this crazy celebrity obsessed culture work for them. They're all in the limelight for now and no one is going to take a serious hit to their fame.
