Kim proved in the video that Kanye spoke to Taylor about the song in a very friendly and polite conversation. The video disproves the first two sentences of the initial PR statement, and throws a lot of doubt on the third:

I'm assuming asking about the L is more about how this will affect her career/down the line. Which it possibly wont apart from how her PR team decides to spin it into a positive.
