This is one of those things where the likely cause is that the whole wave-then-point introduction was scripted out and practiced in front of a mirror countless times, and then when she got on stage nerves fried her motor skills, causing her to combine the wave and point initially.

That is, this is what I'd think if I was willing to give the person the benefit of the doubt. But given the toxic nature of her character.. yeah... I dunno.

Plus the palm is never raised. When I wave, the Palm is at least somewhat facing the person or people I'm waving at, not at the floor. She keeps her hand stiff like a salute, because it was a salute.
