Russia's electronic warfare people are exactly that.
A lot of people who identify as Libertarian are Libertarian up to the point it suits themselves.
Wikileaks + Sanders combines two of "liberal" gafs most hated things and the thread delivers as much as the excuses therein. It really is like reading a critique of Trump supporters, just playing role reversal. Nothing actually matters, intent is whatever you make of it, attack the source and individuals etc.

Binary opinions on this aren't very useful. Though the data should have been scrubbed before the dump, I think the staff of one of the two leading political parties act as if their emails are secure enough to send secret information. This is terrifying especially if some of these people end up coat-tailing to the White House.

All I will say is no matter how you feel about Clinton, think of who is on the other side. At the least, know we will get decent SC picks from her.
All the shady shit she is involved in can be rectified in 4 years. But for now we need her to win. She knows this, and she is counting on that fact people who may think her VP pick is trash and don't like her remember not voting for her is like voting for Trump.

I'm totally aware of the risks and the damages shit like this causes people, but after growing up in America all my life with scumbag shady politicians and "1%'ers" that have really fucked up and obscured agendas, I'd be lying if I said I'm not giddy about politicians being targeted for things like this.
You can argue its wrong all day, and it is. But its what will inevitably happen when 'smiley gladhands with hidden agendas' run the world.
And to those hoping they get caught, these types of hacks will never, ever end, no matter who goes to prison. There's a niche demographic that devotes their lives to these things, and there always will be.

You people are ridiculous, Bernie didn't even call himself a Democrat until the start of this campaign, and you expected the DNC to kiss his ring? Meanwhile, Hillary has been a champion of the party and progressive causes for nearly 30 years. It's completely natural that the rank and file wanted her to win over a dude with, at best, questionable party loyalty. There is nothing surprising or remotely damning in those emails.

The only things I've seen:
- DNC does stuff (so does the RNC) to try to get favorable media coverage. That's a big part of their job.
- Some DNC people were annoyed with Bernie/Jeff Weaver by May 2016 when he was mathematically eliminated from from winning unless he magically got 80%+ of all the remaining delegates.
I don't like Debbie Wasserman Schultz and think she's done a crappy job as DNC chair, but I don't see anything blatantly unfair happening here.

They were until he was clearly beaten and they felt he was actively hurting the nominee. The resentment went both ways with his camp being unreasonable. This is not news as well. It shows frustration with his clownshoes campaign when he was clearly defeated.

White House security protocols are a bit different than a political party's.
The DNC, as an organization, is supposed to be impartial. And that's what happened. There's no evidence of the DNC as an organization taking efforts against Bernie (and in fact, the email posted on the 1st page of this thread shows the very opposite, in that they were helping the the campaign when it fell short on some very basic logistics). Okay, two party staffers thought about "exposing" Bernie as an atheist (did you expect this to not come out in a GE anyway?), but nothing came of it, and the emails even mention DWS explicitly shutting that down.
Had those two guys said "let's expose Bernie as an atheist to undermine him in the south" and DWS said go for it, then you've got your anti-Bernie DNC plot. If DNC staffers said "let's frame Bernie's campaign as a total mess that doesn't have their shit together for the most basic of things" and DWS gave them the thumbs up, then that's the party actively taking steps against Bernie. But none of those things happened. I haven't read all these emails, and honestly won't (I'm not spending my weekend reading thousands of DNC emails :lol), but the only "anti-Bernie" stuff I've seen in these emails is a couple frustrated or shitty staffers who never acted on what they talked about.
The only real example of the DNC putting their thumb on the scales, imo, is the ridiculous initial debate schedule. I think that was pretty obvious to everyone, but then they added more reasonably timed debates later, which rectified it for me at least.

Like seriously, I had one Bernie Stan argue with me on Facebook that southern blacks didn't know better, if only they had better access to the Internet these old black people wouldn't be as misinformed.
