Yes, Donald Trump, a man who's been in America's consciousness for 4 or 5 decades, is a Red Spy.
This is sadder than when a corrupt third-world government blames the US for everything. Putin can't do shit.

This isn't the point being made.Yes, Donald Trump, a man who's been in America's consciousness for 4 or 5 decades, is a Red Spy.
Tell that to Estonia or Ukraine. This is sadder than when a corrupt third-world government blames the US for everything. Putin can't do shit.
Hopefully the mainstream news channels verify this and start reporting on it. I would love to see how the Trump campaign and Republicans are going to spin this.
Flynn resigned from his position as the head of the Pentagon's main intelligence agency a year before his term was officially due to end.
Flynn raised eyebrows among some U.S. foreign policy veterans when he was pictured sitting at the head table with Putin at a banquet in Moscow late last year celebrating Russia Today, an international broadcasting network funded by the Russian government.
His son Michael G. Flynn, who acts as his chief of staff, declined comment on the banquet and on the reasons for his father's departure from the Pentagon.
I want to buy into this...but part of me is reminded of how people believe Obama is a Muslim trying to institute sharia law, is this just the other side of the same coin?
Oh, for fucks sake.
People, Trump is getting national security briefings next month. They aren't going to risk leaks to the goddamn Kremlin and wouldn't be doing this if they thought this would have any basis in reality. Red Scare 2016. This is the funniest thing in the election, and I've seen penis jokes during debates.

I think a lot of people are gonna be surprised come November, when Trump manages to swing [random collection of swing states] due to his strength in [absurd demographic]. Not saying I support everything Trump says, but I can't vote for Hillary.
Oh, for fucks sake.

The intelligence agencies know more than fucking Talking Point memo and their "connect the dots sheeple" articles. This isn't some shithole like Hungary or Ukraine who's in Russia's backyard and can set up their sattellite states, these are alphabet soup agencies who have their shit together. They aren't going to be infiltrated by the screaming racist yam reality TV star.
Obviously Putin is supportive of Trump, he reminds him of Silvio Berlusconi who was great friends, and he isn't as hawkish as Hillary is towards Russia.

As TPM's Tierney Sneed explained in this article, one of the most enduring dynamics of GOP conventions (there's a comparable dynamic on the Dem side) is more mainstream nominees battling conservative activists over the party platform, with activists trying to check all the hardline ideological boxes and the nominees trying to soften most or all of those edges. This is one thing that made the Trump convention very different. The Trump Camp was totally indifferent to the platform. So party activists were able to write one of the most conservative platforms in history. Not with Trump's backing but because he simply didn't care. With one big exception: Trump's team mobilized the nominee's traditional mix of cajoling and strong-arming on one point: changing the party platform on assistance to Ukraine against Russian military operations in eastern Ukraine.
Call me petty but it is Hilarisad that Repubs spent the better part of their convention disrespecting Hillary calling her a criminal only to promote someone could be a plant by Putin to bring down America.
LOCK HIM UPCan't wait for all this stuff to come out! Trump belongs in jail!
Oh, for fucks sake.

Hillary's campaign really needs to hammer this home in her ads. Make right-wingers ask themselves whether they want someone who's practically in bed with Russia as their president.
They won't care, though. Most only care about the team.Hillary's campaign really needs to hammer this home in her ads. Make right-wingers ask themselves whether they want someone who's practically in bed with Russia as their president.
How does the american right wing feels about Putin?
I'm not american, so honestly can't say, but the impression I get from watching this or that occasionally left me with the impression that they actually admire Putin a lot for not giving a shit about things like "human rights" or "morality".
Why? He's basically everything they stand against. A dirigist rent-seeker who arbitrarily grifted his way into a $10 billion fortune.Libertarian faction mostly loves Putin.
Uh, what. No. Libertarians dislike his policies but are indifferent to intervening against him in situations like Ukraine.Libertarian faction mostly loves Putin. Tea Party faction mostly hates him but neither are as big as Evangelicals which I know too little about.
Not sure how great of ads you can make to get this message across. Guess it's possible.Hillary's campaign really needs to hammer this home in her ads. Make right-wingers ask themselves whether they want someone who's practically in bed with Russia as their president.

Is it a debate topic? Speech topic? Hopefully there's some investigation going on already.
I like Trump because he's not in the pocket of anyoh......
why is trumped blackballed by almost every bank in the US?

Would be great for a journalist to ask hil what he thinks or norad and the artic circle.
Man, I really wish we could see his tax returns.
My pessimistic view is that the media will burry this story. There have been countless opportunities for them to address the subject of Putin's backing of right-wing, nationalist, anti-gay, racists groups (wouldn't be surprised if far left gtoups were slso backed), but the mainstream media barely ever touches this. They know it would be too big of a weight in the balance, they don't want that. Anything that would significantly damage either party is off the table.
And if people think the NSA/CIA would do something about it, both organizations are probably far removed from what Hollywood would have you believe in their ability to collect information, or else their willingness to ever use it at all.
What parts of the media? The NY Times and Washington Post have been hammering away at this the past week.

Only problem is there's no real evidence. The following is presented as a smoking gun:
But really, no shit. Anyone involved in prime real estate is going to have dealings with Russian investors. Look how dominant they've been in the London market.
Paul Manafort has advised the campaigns of Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, and John McCain. That he spent "most of the last decade" as top campaign and communications advisor for Viktor Yanukovych seems a misrepresentation. He worked as a consultant for him, most recently on his 2010 campaign. Like he worked as a consultant for all those Republican presidential candidates.
As for Carter Page, he seems pretty qualified for his role.
Yeah, he's not CEO of a major American corporation. He's the leader of country with 143 million inhabitants. To trace everything related to Russia back to him is some Alex Jones-level conspiracy bullshit. If you guys want to sink to that level, fine.
Does he have to show his tax returns?
He was picked as the Republican nominee officially and will be briefed with confidential info and he hasn't shown a thing pertaining to his tax returns.
Is it mandatory or will he just not show it?
The popcorn intensifies. We're living in an interesting time. Loads of popcorn.
And these Putin connections have been known for a long time. I have no idea why it hasn't been used as a weapon against Trump. My guess is that USA is too dependent of Russia's and China's moneys these days. They can't afford to piss that money off.
If Trump is elected, the best case scenario would be a tightening co-operation with Putin (in the Middle-East region). I'd support that. And I'd guess worst case scenario would be some kind of blackmail case from the East.
It's popcorn time!
