A June release of MGSV and a complete edition were fair and very common guesses and even then you failed on that first one. But you see, I think you got too ambitious now with the MGS3 remake one after seeing the MGS3 pachislot trailer and getting too excited. I have a question btw, is that one being announced at Gamescom like you said or will it be announced later like you're saying now? Which one is it?

MGSV @ Gamescom and the remake later event, either TGS or TGA. You might also be surprised about someone. Not saying anything anymore. And I am not guessing.
June was really a candidate date. Might have been changed last minute. Shit happens you know.

np. i actually love the game we got too! didn't meant to imply anything about your personal enjoyment of the game.
i just picked your post cos i found issue with the word "removed". to me it implied that these things were finished and fully integrated into the rest of the game and then taken out. whereas the truth is probably that it was just a design decision, that these things were not finished. "playable" can mean anything from a final build to a first pre-alpha engine demo. and until anyone digs up a Mission 51 map there is no reason to pretend anything about it was complete including the cutscene (30% done is far from done). as for bringing up Chapter 3, it is hard to keep track of what is in Chapter 3 and what not and i just place M51 in that category.
The same people that ask for every deluxe edition; Publishers and Fence-sitters.

Yeah I was playing GZ the other day and I was thinking about how it should be updated to play like TPP (even though some things in GZ are better like being able to pick up bodies and start walking quicker)

I don't know, because this would mean Konami should rework the game, at least partially, and I doubt they want to spend money on that. As I wrote, I'm not even sure both games will be included in a single bluray, this would mean create a new menu a la MGO in which you can boot GZ, MGSV or MGO. I still believe for the vanilla game+ a voucher to download GZ and DLCs.
With Metal Gear Rising Ultimate and Castlevania LOS Ultimate they did this, but on the other end, the suspicious thing here is the fact this is not MGSV Ultimate, but Definitive EX. Usually in gaming when you use EX, there's some kind of revision going on, so who knows.

If the GZ content is added. It would be nice to be able to replay it with the TFP content. Custom loadouts. Fulton soldiers.

Sorry, but you are just guessing or you have some insider's info? If so, Mods, please verify him, because if he is an insider, the remake of MGS3 is a big thing. Also guessing Kojima and Sony partnership is not really a big thing, since he always appreciated Sony a lot.
Well, I for one don't have a PS4 yet and when I get one for FFXV I could imagine getting this someday (if it's ~20-30 or so).

If MGS V was a masterpiece, everyone would be happy with this news, but because this game turned out to be the biggest dissapointment for the hardcore Metal Gear fans and storyline driven fans, now everyone is laughing with this news. Something which a great series like Metal Gear doesnt deserve.
I am a hardcore MG fan and I loved TPP. Speak for yourself.

That makes no sense. I loved the game, and consider it something of a masterpiece - but I still hate a lot about it and will criticise - which isn't a problem and doesn't affect such a classification by definition. Even more nonsensical, is that this new "version" appears to be nothing more than a "game of the year" edition if we are simply going off the "definitive" editions of past games, most of which are just slamming all the dlc in one place. Does everyone who already owns these games buy them all over again - no, they don't

Are those two facts related? I mean, the verification was positive and later they banned you because the game didn't release on June (so the first verification was invalid)?
Anyway is this version just a repackage of MGSV with GZ+DLCs as we are saying or there's new content in it ?
Well, maybe Chapter 3 was Kingdom of the Flies (with some additional EX missions), but no, no way Konami spent money to finish that.

Probably not... But I think something like that could pay itself back. A tagline like "Play the real ending of the epic masterpiece!" would sell more copies than "Get all the DLC costumes of the epic masterpiece!"
Well, of course a band new chapter will sell well enough, but I simply think we would see it as DLC too, not only in a brand new release. But again Konami didn't bother to release on PC MGS1,2 and Silent Hill titles even if a PC version already existed (so just a small amount of job was needed), so I believe nothing like new game content will happen.
Also consider this: GZ (money side) is worth nothing those days, it was given for free on Plus and Live, as a pre-order bonus for TPP on PC and discounted up to 75% off multiple times. TPP devaluated itself quickly, with a price of 30€ for a brand new copy, but you can get it for 15€ (console version) here in Italy from many stores like Euronics etc, releasing a GOTY-like version would bring new money for Konami.
The only thing I really know is that new content is coming. I don't know if it is story or not. As far as MGS3 remake, just wait and see! The fact a remake is coming won't be the surprising bit
But it is a masterpiece.
