Time for some evidence.

Ah, I remember, it's Uranium One I believe? There's no proof. It's a multi-billion dollar foundation with public finances.
No direct proof, but the link is difficult to dispute. $145m from several people in the company to a woman who many believed at the time to be on track to the presidency.

You mean the Clinton Foundation?

Fiorina and others are referring only to the amount donated by the Clinton Foundation to outside charities, ignoring the fact that most of the Clinton Foundation’s charitable work is performed in-house. One independent philanthropy watchdog did an analysis of Clinton Foundation funding and concluded that about 89 percent of its funding went to charity.

Simply put, despite its name, the Clinton Foundation is not a private foundation — which typically acts as a pass-through for private donations to other charitable organizations. Rather, it is a public charity. It conducts most of its charitable activities directly.

89% is very very good for a charity btw.

And the President does not have the power to force multiple agencies and especially independent agencies to sign off on a sale.

No it isn't, and it wasn't to "a woman". It was to a non-profit foundation with public finances.

All the Clinton Foundation cash is tracked and public.

I agree, there is a correlation between donations and policy, and that it doesn't look good without deeper analysis. But there's also an inverse correlation between the number of pirates sailing the oceans and global warming.

I think we should all listen to The Nation and lay off the Trump-Russia neo-McCarthyism.

The Nation calling this "neo-McCarthyism" doesn't seem like a particularly informed perspective. McCarthyism a product of the Red Scare, a nation-wide political and cultural hysteria that was for all intents and purposes a witch hunt.

Today there isn't anything resembling a Red Scare (well there is, although today it's just conservatives stirring paranoia about Muslims and "which ones are terrorists???"). There isn't a cultural mass paranoia about communism that compels people to dig out "secret communists" from under the shadows and try them for espionage. There hasn't been a major allegation of government-level pro-Russian espionage in modern history.

This is ONE instance in which ONE candidate is making internationally idiotic statements actively advocating for cyber-crime to be commited by a foreign nation. They're deeply disturbing elements that make this candidate for the presidency completely unfit for the position.

It's one thing to argue that this doesn't amount to treason (I don't think it does), and it's another thing to say there's no way Trump is a legitimate Russian spy (he isn't, IMO), but let's not go insane and start accusing people who are neo-McCarthyists. To do so is to almost entirely remove the context from the actual Red Scare and focus on extremely flimsy similarities between the two.

The problem I see is that he says so much shit that he can get away with it, always.

That might be true if its just a bunch of random shit, but if that shit develops into a consistent narrative then that narrative will stick with him whenever he says some stupid shit related to that narrative.

I doubt this is going away.

I mean to be fair, if global warming continues, we will get zero pirate attacks (because everyone will be dead)

As stupid and bizarre as this statement is, any efforts spent trying to use this to bring him down are pointless. Aside from bringing it up to remind Americans one more time that he is a loose cannon and completely unhinged, it needs to be just added to the crazy-pile. Don't let this be the left's version of the private server email "scandal." It reeks of a desperate attempt to manufacture a removal which he will spin as persecution. Just keep giving him rope.

From the same twitter feed:

He is just assuming that everyone is as stupid as he is, right?

Think of all the crimes he would commit if only he had the power!
He couldn't telegraph more how much he'd seek to abuse his power when in office.

No small government people could possibly back him - his supporters want a strong authoritarian. A "man's man", like Putin.

NPR just said that off record sources in the intelligence community are now question whether he should get the national security updates. First time in history, for an unpolitical apparatus.

This shit might get real.

Sure. What I meant is that the amount of bullshit he says is such that nothing comes as a surprise. He is so aggressive that statements as these are the rule not the exception. Sure his narrative will stick with him forever, that I agree.

He shouldn't get them. Trump is a dangerous individual.

I call for the bank to deposit millions into my account, the stickiest of buds to be delivered to my door and Alexandra Daddario to bathe me every day...

I think I'll get what I want before you get your wish.

My man!! As long as Emily Ratajkowski is invited as well, I'll party with you!

Just to clarify since I might not have been clear, the narrative that I was referring to was the Putin and Russia love/ties narrative.

Just give him info that you would learn from reading the times and make him think he's getting top secret info. Not like he'd know the difference.

Better idea. Feed him fake info and see what he does with it. If it turns up on his Twitter feed or in Russian hands, we've got him.

It worked for Tyrion Lannister!

Could the White House lay a possible trap by giving both Trump and Clinton very similar info, but with detail differences that would immediately let them point to Trump if those details are found in a leak?

Hopefully the small government types throw their support behind Gary Johnson. Here's hoping he gets 15%. I just can't believe these two assholes (Trump & Clinton) are the major party candidates. What a fucking disaster.

It seems strange that this could not have a judicial consequence in USA, taking into account the punitive culture of the judiciary, the law enforcement and the legislation of the country.

To me this looks like a public incitement to external powers to break US law to damage a US citizen (Hillary in this case)

Imagine if Trump had that power. The world would be a better place. 😔

We need to give Trump that power come November. We have to do it in order to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain 😡

Released in November 2001, the original Xbox console was made in Guadalajara, Mexico. Its successor, Xbox 360, was made in the Pearl River Delta region of Southern China. As of September 2014, Xbox One is being manufactured in Shanghai, China.

You sure you want to go in that direction, bro?

Someone should ask him about a fictional problem in a fictional country, to see if he cottons on or just goes "Yes, we'll look into that".

Like "Could the anti-government protests in Chazwikistan lead to a civil war and should the US take action in resolving it"?
