It is kind of amazing how ONLY this man can just throw a "jk" at the end of a ridiculously senseless statement that he made twice and people eat it up like it's no big deal.

It's not about what's in the e-mails, it's about asking a foreign nation to hack anyone, anywhere, anytime in your own fucking country. Unless you think what Snowden did was noble and therefore not illegal.
 
So Republicans want Hillary thrown in prison because of some private email servers.

Meanwhile, Trump is talking treason and they're 100% behind him.

It's almost as if the only thing Republicans care about is whether or not a candidate has an (R) by their name.

Actually scratch that, because I'm pretty sure even the dumb Trump supporters on CNN panels are intelligent enough to admit that Trump shouldn't have asked Russia to commit espionage.

Idk if Trump even wants to win at this point. It's like he's doing everything to lose but people keep pushing his nomination forward.

I switched it to Fox News earlier in the day and they were running with the "Why are Hillary and the Dems so worried about the emails unless there's something there that could lead to an indictment" narrative.

That doesn't make any sense.

It doesn't matter whether or not there are actually something that would lead to an indictment. Trump thinks that there are classified emails, and he (that same person who thinks the emails are classified) wants Russia to get them. So what he is asking for is treasonous.

Everybody is 'shocked' and retweets it for maximum exposure.

Huh? Today was all about Obama. People only paid attention to Trump today to shit on the dumb things he said.

I don't even know where some people still get their "master manipulator" stuff from. That hasn't been true for months now.

On Twitter Trump has 10m followers, Clinton has 7.8m.

Based on their last ten tweets, Trump has had 80,000 retweets. Clinton just 32,300. Somebody else can do more in depth research, but Trump is getting a lot of exposure.

A lot of those retweets are liberals commenting on his idiocy and making sure people see it. It's not a particularly useful metric when it comes to demonstrating support.

Twitter isn't exactly a reliable metric. Grains of salt. Specially given its bot problems. Hell I have hundreds of followers, which is inexplicable. Even so, there is such a thing as the wrong kind of exposure, social media, we all have our camps and reliably retweet our selected crap and like etc, and that all goes largely into the void, to the "undecided" swayable people who only hear of trumps tweets as part of some "jackasses latest crazy tweet" news story, I suspect it doesn't help Trump
 
I love the responses of "He's just trolling!" and "I believe Trump when he speaks his mind". How are you to know which one is which?
