No way Boomerang dies in this. The bastard of the group has to live like in Assault on Arkham. There's potential for him as a future Flash villain and as a fan favorite character.

I got a screening at 7pm Central time on August 1st 
anyone with experience at these AMC radio screenings recommend a good time to get there? I was thinking maybe a couple hours early, but maybe that's overkill... it's first come first serve even though I won tickets which is pretty lame. It says they overbook on purpose.

As mentioned above, he's not in the bar scene which looks like it takes place pretty late in the film. So he's either dead or separated from the team. Add to that the fact that Kinnaman is not a huge star and the character doesn't have much marketing potential. He's just a soldier, not a flashy hero or villain. Of course, they wanted to cast Tom Hardy but I'm sure they have tweaked the script since then. It's certainly not a sure thing like rope guy but I think there's a good chance.
Depends how durable they make him. Croc can regenerate unless he has a definitive death he could come back if they really wanted. Either way I doubt he would be featured much in the DCCU. Harley, Deadshot, Joker, Boomerang, and Waller might as well have a 'deathproof' sign around their necks.

In Assault on Arkham Deadshot leads the people. You don't need an official to lead the troup. Next one is with Hardy as Deathstroke, leading the Task Force X.
Naaaaaaah. You need a government (or at least heroic) presence on the team to act as a leader. If not Flag, Bronze Tiger should be the pick, though since Katana's effectively filling his role in this, I guess she'd be the next in line.
Every time I see something from this movie that pulls from Ostrander's run, I just get this big stupid grin. It helps that it's a great scene.

It didn't hit me but I could see Deadshot out of there if Will ain't trying to do too much in the comicbook stuff.
Especially if they are going for more movies. Other then MiB and Badboys he ain't the type I feel to do full series/sagas.
I think both Flag and DS being alive and a sort of "co captain" or Flag being their government connect is the best case.
Kinnaman is still on the rise tho. Also if this was the part they wanted Tom hardy to play that could mean he plays a big enough role to be still there in the end. Or not. We don't know.

My only worry is Kinnaman. I'm not sold on him at all. Hardy to Kinnaman is a fucking epic downgrade.
There is a jobber and wrassling joke somewhere in there.

I remember he was a part of the push to get TDK a best picture nom from the academy.

Yeah, wouldn't shock me if he's a one and done here. Something about how they've marketed the film feels off for a vehicle that lists Smith first in the credits. He's been in every piece of marketing really, but largely showing the same few scenes. Could be interesting.
Hope not.... but with all the recent clips since comic-con, I hate to say I wouldn't be all that surprised.

I feel the exact same as I did about this movie a day ago. Hoping for the best.
Good tweets from random fans mean absolutely nothing. They love everything, especially if they got to see it early. They want to like the movie and can't remove that fact from their head. Sometimes theyre the people who have spent every day talking about it for years.
Bad tweets tend to be more of a canary in a coal mine. Still doesn't mean people should panic. Just need to buckle in for the ride.
