Man I really hope this movie is good, the trailers really did it for me.
And I wanted something to lift me up after BVS.

I guess if it's bad we can all just go back to discussing why Iron Man 3 was so good.

That is the fun of it. We get enough of the boring MCU stuff: movie comes, everyone cheers and one month later it's forgotten and barely talked about. See Civil War as the latest example. I'd much rather have this.

If you want something to cheer you up after BvS you could give Schindler's list a try.
 
Not sure when will I be able to watch it, but I hope it's good. Hell, I'll settle for decent at this rate.
 
Bobby was spending a huge amount of time being the voice of reason around this place. Dude deserves a break every once in a while. He probably lurks anyways.

Based on height, I guess he would have to be the Keaton version.
 
Predicting a mid-60s RT. Not seeing this movie being universally liked, I think some critics might be put off by the whole goth-punk look and the brand of humor coming from Harley seems accessible only for people familiar with the character.

Eugh at the cutting Joker scenes and odd pacing, though. I wonder what Drew McWeeny is saying about it, he has been pretty accurate in the past.

So far he has just said he hasn't heard anything about it being a disaster.

It seems like Joker is mostly there to get people interested in the film/set up Harley's back story. They can expand his role in a sequel. I am OK with him having minimal screen time in this film.

Right now he's heard nothing but good buzz, but since crazed "fan's" are harassing him he's keeping his mouth shut.

I will not be surprised if this movie is not all that good. Much as I loved the trailers, the director's actual work is way more predictive, and I thought his last film Fury was pretty mediocre.

I wasn't at first but I feel like all the recent marketing has been Joker heavy, which led me to think he was pretty prominent. Cutting some of that is actually kind of surprising considering the hullabaloo made over the character and Leto scaring the shit out of people in public and private.
 
My excitement for this film went down after I started watching those six recently released clips.

Which is a shame because the trailers look really fun.

A friend (who I trust) just told me word is from an advanced screening that it's not very good...

I'm practically playing telephone here though so bear in mind it's all hearsay.
 
Please be good. I don't think DC-GAF's heart can take another beating like it took (and continues to take) with BvS.

I'll be on vacation with the fam in NY next week. So I might miss opening weekend, but maybe not if my single sister-in-laws can actually find a date for once. Either way, I'm definitely watching SS on the real IMAX screen here in Orlando with co-workers when I get back.

SS should be a crazy, fun movie going by the trailers. I'm guessing a 50-65% on Rotten Tomatoes. WB really needs a huge hit here. I'm cheering for them.
