Is Deadshot the biggest rising star comic book character oc recent times?
Anyways it's pretty awesome they made Croc work in live action.
did they though? he kind of looks like a slight step up from a ninja turtle to me
A friend (who I trust) just told me word is from an advanced screening that it's not very good...
I'm practically playing telephone here though so bear in mind it's all hearsay.

So it begins.
Keep holding those L's DC. Or hell, WB for the past year or so. They still living on that American Sniper money or what?
I'm being polite 😕'not very good' kinda vague tho
ask him to put a number on it
I hope that it's good obviously, but if it's not it's hard to figure out how WB keeps screwing things up. Make a movie based on character people like, hire a good director in Ayer and still manage to drop the ball.So it begins.

Harley has been big since BTAS, as has Deadpool for years. To me, Deadshot was a nobody supervillain that I used to confuse for Deathstroke. Now he's played by Will Smith and is one of the movie's leads. What's recent times? I think that both Harley and Deadpool hit critical mass in the past decade.
The real question is what happens to WW if this movie under-performs critically and commercially.

My friend Gary Jackson Jr., who lives in Philadelphia, PA at 248 Wickerbocker Ave (phone number and email available by PM for privacy sake), saw the movie at an advanced screening and he says it wasn't very good.
I know I can trust him because he saved my life from a runaway tramcar back in the day when he was my next door neighbor in the hood. The year was 2002 and I was 13 years old, he wasn't my best friend but since my mom was dating his uncle we saw each other a lot. To make a long story short, the dog was biting on my leg and Gary scared it away with a lighter and a can of afro-sheen.
Love you Jerry.

Well, just to give you guys some hope: Marc Bernardin (from Fatman on Batman) and McWeeny seem to be positive. And they were the ones saying they didn't hear good things from the BvS screenings.
But now to crush that hope: It's DC and not Nolan sooooo, expect a 40% on RT. Which means MoS still the best movie in the DCEU so far if we look at RT. It's like poetry.
Marc Bernardin usually has good taste in these things and he loathed BvS, so he can certainly be critical of things. If he liked it then that is indeed a good sign.

Note that I'm not correlating it to any potential popularity.

Good friend of mine who works at Pixar and got a chance to see it said it's great. Keep in mind I heard this from his wife, who I'm sleeping with. Only reason she knew was because she went through his phone and read some texts between him and some girl he met on Tinder. Apparently, the girl works for WB and got him in for a screening. Keep in mind this is all hearsay.
I saw it and it was just okay.
Keep in mind though, I'm Batman.

I just want For the Man Who Wanted Everything made.
Is that too much to ask?
BTAS is one of those things that would have been big to you if you were between 6 and 15 back in the early 90s, but Harley was largely ignored outside of that and related media until more recently. I wouldn't be surprised if the Arkham games had a larger role in her current popularity among those under 25. She sure looks a lot more like the Arkham version these days than the BTAS version.
Deadpool was a favourite among certain crowds since the Joe Kelly Days, but his popularity is now on Wolverine's level. Arguably even before the film.

I got a call from Kevin Feige, he saw the movie and told me it was very good.
Easiley his top 5.
You mean For the Man who Has everything?
Funnily enough, there is probably like one director out there who would bring that onto the big screen.....

No one needs to have "connections" to know this will be hot garbage. It's a David Ayer movie.
Feige's Top 5 is Batman and Robin, Thor 2, Iron Man 2, The 1989 Punisher, and The Phantom though...
lol whoops that typo
if Snyder brought FTMWHE on-screen, Supes' son would get brutally mutilated by a building during Krypton's implosion or something

Damn, no holding back huh.
I can dig that. You didn't like Fury or End of Watch?
