I dig Batman v Superman for what it is, but I was expecting a good film, and I ended up getting a 6/10. That really shattered my expectations and illusions about DCEU. I don't really expect much from Suicide Squad, other than a fun film at best. If even this is bad, I guess I'll throw in the towel on comic book films. Marvel's cookie cutter films don't interest me in the slightest, DC can't get a decent one out, and Fox is stuck in 2006 with Deadpool being the only ray of hope for them.

I hope this is good, the Superhero movies outside of Deadpool and Apocalypse have been disappointing. Hopefully Quinn isn't too annoying.

I understand that reviews can sway someone who is undecided about watching it. However it seemed like some people started shitting on BvS before actually watching it. Basically joining in on the hate without forming their own opinion (not necessarily from GAF).

I know Zack Snyder has his fans but I personally hadn't enjoyed any of his films, including Man of Steel, so was pretty sceptical going in. When reviews starting dropping for BvS I felt pretty justified in having concerns about it's quality. I do agree that hoping something fails before release in anticipation of meltdowns from excited fans is pretty pathetic though.

Not the biggest fan of Snyder and wasn't a fan of MoS. BvS has problems but I couldn't really comment on any of them or form an opinion without watching it.

I have enjoyed films that have been thrashed by critics (most of us probably have).
