RDJ not caring for the tone of Dark Knight is atleast an actual criticism. This is just leaning into dumb tribalism. Doesn't matter if it's DC/Marvel, Sony/Microsoft, Coke/Pepsi, it's all just dumb.

It's not life and death but it's not a good look to say dumb shit like that before a premier. I like DC and Marvel, want this movie to be great, but that video is eye-rolly. Russos would look just as dumb saying "FUCK DC!" right before they premiered Civil War. Keep that DC v Marvel shit to the fanboys.

The thing is, only DC are throwing the insults here --- Momoa, The Rock, Ayer, Snyder, Goyer, that's no "banter".
I think remember reading that Disney specifically forbid any Marvel casts from shitting on the rival.
What Ayer is doing here is just petty.

It goes both ways. Just look up the stuff Mackie and the actor who plays Winter Soldier have said in the recent past. Mackie being the worst offender and likely the reason for any gag order in place now.

I know it's cut, just commenting along with everyone else about how it sucks that it was excised. I dunno those shots are the best I've seen personally from the film, but I am expecting an extended cut.
But then again Animator said it was a dumb scene for some reason so perhaps in context it didn't work.
Just got out of the premiere. Overall better than ok. Some real good moments but otherwise I didn't feel like there were any surprises. Just kinda... goes along.

I love shit talking. I just want DC to step their game up so Marvel step their game up. I find it exciting that the next big screen Blockbuster could be the most obscure of comic book properties. If someone told me when I was 10 that there'd be a Suicide Squad movie or a Guardians of the Galaxy movie and they'd be potentially the biggest movies of the year. First of all I'd ask ask "who", then I'd ask are you kidding me. But hey they seeds were sown decades ago, where the Mask and Men in Black became Blockbuster hits.
