Yeah, I'm with ya. I've seen Sunrise way more times but and it's more of a personal favorite but if I'm trying to be objective, I think Sunset is the better film.

I love Midnight too but it's a more depressing and bittersweet movie. I need to watch it again.

A really solid 7.5. Starts a little rocky but settled into a fun groove. It's definitely DC's Guardians, good use of music cues and all. Everyone's good in it, too, even Jai Courtney!

There's also one gag that's so perfectly dark and hilarious and right in line with the comics

The only real complaint I have is that there are a handful of moments where you can tell stuff had been taken out in editing, mostly in the first half. Makes it a little disjointed (and considering how breakneck the pacing is it makes it hard to keep up for a bit).

with the CG, it's in regard to the villians and some of their ongoing scenes throughout the movie. I love Enchantress in her dirty witch state, but when she 'levels up' so to speak, she gets pretty cringey in her look/acting/dialogue.
