Glad I got a player emblem and sprays for the free summer box. The RNG in this game is unbearable. I literally haven't gotten a single purple or yellow drop except for Captain Amari and I am in the high 30s.

It kind of annoying that the sections of new items are inconsistent among heroes, with Ana and Hanzo not getting any new skins, emotes, poses, nor intros for example.

Also Lucioball is meeeh, through great place to see lucio PotG. Just feels like it could use more flair and crazyness through.

Absolute, utter horseshit.

I spent £100 on lootboxes a while back, and that purchase is now objectively worth less than somebody else who spends that same amount now, as I can't use my excess coins to get these Summer skins.

This is inexcusable, and a slap in the face to people who were willing to further support the game right off the bat by purchasing lootboxes.

I really regret my purchases now, and I sure as fuck won't be buying any more ever again.

I had no problem with being a whale, but I don't expect to be fucking punished for it.

I'm going to contact Blizzard support; even though I expect I'll get nothing out of it, I'm certainly going to register my dissatisfaction, and I hope others do the same.

I hope they realise they fucked up, and allow us to buy these skins/sprays/etc with the in-game currency.

Only thing more cancerous than the bullshit Blizz is currently pulling with this is the people that are throwing hundreds of dollars at em encouraging them to make this the norm for all future releases. I will say I will laugh my ass if Blizz flips the switch and allows the items to be bought with coins after a few days or so. People that threw money at this stuff would riot since they probably had like 20k coins to spend before this.

Also Lucioball is kinda nice. It's no Rocket League but they really needed to do more with the Weekly Brawl than just class restrictions w/ some minor stat adjustments. Hopefully this Stadium will give them the opportunity to be more creative with Weekly Brawl.

I got the Legendary Horus skin for Ana out of my free box. Not bad, though I probably won't use it. The voice clips and young skins never really fit together for any of the characters that have them.

Why should it matter, they're all just post-release cosmetics. They need some way to get more people to buy loot boxes, why not lock away all of Ana's cosmetics?

Why does "seasonal" also get rid of "buy with in-game credits"? It would be reasonable-ish if you could buy the stuff with credits within the twenty days.

Even if her stuff was locked away, she's still available to everyone, cosmetics are not a game altering mechanic. If it's Blizzard's prerogative to try to get people to buy more crates through a seasonal event by preventing direct purchase of the seasonal items, more power to them. It's their game, and if the players reject it then that's fine. I don't plan on buying any crates for this, but I'm not going to shit on people for wanting to.

Ended up with Tracer's legendary, 2 of Zarya's (duplicate legendaries giving only 200 gold is kinda dumb), a lot of the sprays and poses and also D.va's junker legendary and Tolbjorn's Deadlock legendary.
