Uhhhh where did you get that from?
Common sense.

Came back from the theater, what a letdown... it's not trash but it's very mediocre, the Joker was a mistake, Harley is overdoing it, only Will Smith delivered, the plot is... wait what plot ?!
the movie is just bland, flat and really disappointing, DCU is pretty bad so far, Marvel can relax, they have no competition right now.
I highly doubt Zack has any say at all when it comes to narrative decisions anymore
Is Johns working a similar position to Feige's at Marvel? If so, perhaps there's some hope after all
I just want the Batfleck solo flick now god damn it
He also advises on videogames, and engages in fairly frequent media appearances. He seems more involved than that, he's actually co-writing the Wonder Woman and Batman scripts (and probably doing some script work on JL I imagine).
Between that, running DC Comics and also working on the CW tv shows, I have no idea when he sleeps or sees his family.

Nah, I strongly recommend to listen to the actual aggregate of opinions from a variety of individuals, namely the user reviews. The amount of tryhard hateful critics and bias is miles less problematic in a pool of 5000+ reviews than in a 40-80 from people who get paid to get clicks and generate controversy for the sake of traffic.
That's why the Steam user reviews systematically rendered Metacritic and similar crap useless and laughable, and that's why "audience score" in RT and places like Filmaffinity which prioritize user scores -with critics reviews being an extra- are actually reasonable unlike complete hyperbole like the 27% of BvS.
We live in a world in which people don't need to buy magazines to read some critic score. Thankfully. Though some people seems to be willingly stuck with that.
1) The average critic score for BvS is 5/10, not 27%. Some executive needs to get his head chopped, when they brought Will Smith forward and dropped Joker. Deadshot is a boring character and I just didnt find Will good. Hes merely ok, while Leto is actually interesting. Stupid decision.
Put your trust in Snyder. He will deliver the Justice League movie you wantWhat is it going to take to get a good DC movie again?
I don't think DC Comics has much say in any of these movies. It's mostly WB using DC characters to make movies. Not a single person from DC was involved in BvS or this aside from an Exec Prod credit for GJ. Exec Prod means shit.:/
looks like DC can't make a good movie to save their lives

When Quentin Tarantinos western revenge-fantasy Django Unchained was first announced, casting rumors pegged Will Smith as the titular slave-turned-vigilante. But Smith, who teams with his son Jaden in this summers sci-fi epic After Earth, tells EW that he turned down the part because his character wouldve been second fiddle to the bounty hunter (played by Christoph Waltz) who teaches Django his trade. Django wasnt the lead, so it was like, I need to be the lead. The other character was the lead! says the Men in Black star, whose departure opened the door for Jamie Foxx to play the role.
I really don't understand what Ayer et al. were thinking with this film's villain, specifically that this threat literally would not exist at all if it weren't for Waller and Task Force X (which might work in a sequel with 1-2 films' worth of buildup, but which completely undermines the entire point of the team when it's their first mission), and that nothing about the nature of said threat - aside from being inadvertently created by Waller et al. - necessitates a black-ops villain team being deployed against them; he/she could just as easily be the villain in a Justice League film
Waller causing her own shit storm is par for the course.
Waller's actions having blowback is one thing; the team implicitly existing to fight threats she creates is another.
What is it going to take to get a good DC movie again?
Now the only ray of hope that I might enjoy is movie is that Jeremy liked it and said it has heart. Which is still better than BvS which was missing head AND heart.
They give like 2 of the squad some pretty superficial motivation, that's basically all the "heart" there is. The rest is just all the same eye candy that's been in all the trailers.
Put your trust in Snyder. He will deliver the Justice League movie you want

Why does every shot in JL look like it's taking place at midnight? Everything is so dark and drab.
Not that I don't belive you but at least tell us what made you feel this way.Omg. I just watched this.
It is soooo fucking bad. I wanted to walk out.
What a horrible movie. One of the worst films I've seen in cinemas.
I can't believe how much this sucked. It took so much effort not to walk out. Trainwreck of a film.

Not even the cinematography? My mind is still reeling from what I just watched. I'll type some more later, still on mobile. I'm just so disappointed. I have a hard time thinking of what I actually liked about it.

Yikes... Should I go see this this in the IMAX? (It was free for me)
I was planning on seeing it on IMAX too this weekend, but we went to a regular showing instead. I'm glad I didn't pay extra for it....
Welp. Definitely not taking a day off work to see this.
No, we live in a society where there are more entertainment options than ever, so people don't always go out and waste their time and money on a movie just because it's the new thing in theaters.I'm sure if making a good movie was easy, everyone would be doing it. Unfortunately, we live in a society where an arbitrary aggregated meter is the sole indicator of quality in people's minds. It doesn't matter what you think anymore. It's the consensus that matters.
You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.does anyone even give a shit about will smith anymore
he seems to be box office poison at this point, too
dude's career peaked with fresh prince
