Mythical Pokemon being distributed throughout 2016

Smyths UK are redistributing the Shiny Xerneas code for a few more weeks if you missed out the last time:

Got my code for Arceus from GAME as well.
 
Are the mystery gift servers down or something? I got an Arceus code but it just keeps erroring out whenever I select mystery gift. Sometimes it lets me enter the code but then it errors out after that. And my other 3DS flat out refuses to system update.

I did see something about maintenance for Wii U and upcoming maintenance for 3DS when I googled the error codes so must be that. Luckily my code appears to be still working, so I'll try again tomorrow.

Just tried it now and it worked fine and also let me update the 3DS. Must've been a server thing.

I forgot to redeem my Mew code, and now I can't do it anymore. Looking for a Mew, I have another extra Arceus code

Hey guys, my brother is looking to get his hands on a UK Xerneas code. He can offer a UK Darkrai code in return.

Is anybody interested in such a trade?

How? Most of the associates already know why you're there in the first place, so it doesn't really matter. I've been to my EB Games often to get the codes and everyone just gives one out.
 
Darkrai is being redistributed via Pokemon's Trainer Club Newsletter next month.

As per Serebii:
"For those of you in North America, a second chance to get Darkrai has been announced. If you sign up for the official Pokémon Trainer Club Newsletter before August 24th, then in September you will receive a serial code to receive Darkrai in the newsletter. This code cannot be redeemed if you already obtained a code for Darkrai earlier this year. Codes have to be redeemed by November 30th. No European second chance events have been announced."

Now I'm pretty sure Arceus will come via Newsletter too, maybe in December.

No. The only second chance distribution so far are the ones from GameStop/EB Games. Aka Mew, Darkrai, and most likely Arceus and Genesect further down the line.
 
I missed a couple of the newsletter legendaries (the bird trio and Darkrai), and with Darkrai returning, it made me wonder, how does one tell if they got signed up for the newsletter? I remember being able to get the ORAS demo through it, but somehow the ones for the legendaries I didn't get.

How does one check if they get the newsletter in their site? I couldn't see anything pertaining to that in the settings outside of "receive e-mails for marketting, etc." which is checked.

That's the only thing. Just make sure that part is checked and click the save button again.
 
Walked into EB Games and they're already out of Pokemon. Previous months have had stock until like the 20th so idk what the heck happened.
 
PGL is such a shitty website. always lagging like hell.

i hope the newsletter works later. i'd trade the Darkrai code for an Arceus code down the line since i have a darkrai already.

It's almost like code distribution was a terrible idea to do for any month this year, let alone in 2016, and they should have stuck with distributing them via the internet.

Na.

What they need to do more is what GAME in the UK do. Have it print the codes at the till, don't do it in limited code cards. That way you don't run out.
 
I got a spare Darkrai code for EU, would trade for one of the birds or that shiny Xerneas from the UK if that works in the rest of Europe.

That's a really good system!

Considering how it's winter and I froze my balls off to not get Arceus, I think I'd prefer internet transfer, but if codes have to be used I like the bespoke system.
