There are few Japanese digital only, PS4 only games and even fewer are purple!
I'm going with Shantae now. Risky's Revenge or Pirate's Curse or both. Maybe no one guessed it on twitter.

mmm it's a pretty good guess as always, however I see it more difficult now that other companies are releasing other shantae games.Would be a great announcement though.

Can't believe I almost didn't buy Soldner X-2, it's soooo good. Gonna download the Rainbow Moon demo and see how that is too.
Pirate's Curse would be interesting considering the 3DS version will be getting a physical release next month (and not a limited one) but I'd be all in for Risky's Revenge if this is true.

I was positively surprised after trying an hour of Rainbow Moon. Cool game that I see myself playing more in the future.
They're not on Vita (which is criminal btw), and PS4 and Vita is all LRG publishes atm

Vita is the only current gen platform where Half Genies Hero is going to be its first Shantae. Wayforward isn't trying to hide the fact that if it wasn't for that Kickstarter stretch goal, there would be none on Vita.

The digital version will eventually get delisted and if my console then breaks I'm out of luck. It's not like this is the only release having a high demand either. I'm not one of the bad guys. I will end up getting both on ebay anyway, probably, but maybe your point still stands.
The remake of one of the best Sega Master System games, Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, is looking pretty sweet. Coming to "consoles/PC" so we can assume it's PS4 at least. LRG, please.

that's not delisting, and anyway, there's no telling if there'll be a means to download Vita games on another platform and transferring them to the console as is the case with PSP games.
in any case this discussion is silly because game carts aren't more durable than memory cards.

There's no telling but I think PS Mobile painted a pretty scary picture. Tons of games lost that can't be redownloaded. Had they been on game cards, they'd be playable forever.

I made two seperate orders on July 29th. One with Soldner X, two vita replacement cases and a shipping box. The other was just B&C Deadline.
I received an email yesterday that my Soldner order was on the way. The package that was delivered today, with a tracking number that matches my Soldner email and order, actually contained only my copy B&C Deadline.
I check my LRG shopify account and it show my B&C Deadline order as "unfulfilled" and my Soldner order as "fulfilled".
Shit, why did this have to happen to Soldner, the more imports of the two games!
Who do I even begin to contact about this?

They always have a few copies left for replacements and stuff, so even if yours gets lost you'll get a copy
What Oneida is advising, is not that should have only the digital release, but that you could get a physical Soldner that you keep sealed, while playing the digital version. Frankly it sounds like a good solution, and even if, one day, it is delisted, you'll still own the sealed game.
(so that's not a reenactment of the debate "physical vs digital")

You're true regarding the cards for vita being durable though, for some reason I thought of a regular HDD, so I agree one copy for the vita is enough. That should save me some money too. Cheers.

There is no way to prevent scalpers with the way they have these runs set up. Anything limited will attract them and it's impossible for LRG to have prints large enough to keep them away. Even if they could cancel any orders when people do it before a game ships, there is nothing stopping them once the game is in their hands.

After Burner Climax was delisted because several of the ingame planes were licensed aircrafts. Point is, some games can unexpectedly be licensed and I wasn't being a dick.Not sure what that means but let's just leave it at that

On another note I wonder what's up with the lack of preorder listings for soldner x-2 on ebay.co.uk. Maybe a lot of non LRG collectors (shmup collectors) picked it up?

The game still seems to be trading at roughly 100$/copy on Ebay. Might not get a lot cheaper in the future.
