Gotta commend their more than reasonable pricing. 20 for a game is really good price, and actually makes me think about buying one of them (which is the best?), eventhough I wasn't planning to do so.
I'll get DR1 just to run over zombies in the underground parking for a couple hours untli the achievement pops up. It'll be weird not doing it on a 20'' Trinitron CRT this time around, tho.
Hopefully someone mods in impossible to read dialog boxes so it'll be just like old times.I'll get DR1 just to run over zombies in the underground parking for a couple hours untli the achievement pops up. It'll be weird not doing it on a 20'' Trinitron CRT this time around, tho.
DR2 is the most solid one of the three, though I think everyone will agree that DR1 has the highest highs of any game in the series. DR1 also has much more of a horror vibe to it than the sequels, so it sticks out even more.
Sounds like that would be to my liking, although I recall hearing it had some frustrating gameplay mechanics (timer, or something like that).
All three of these games run on a timer. The only real change 2 and OTR made over DR1 in that regard was placing save points near story boss fights.
Having more than one save slot in DR1 should help some people out, though.
Nope, does not contain Case Zero or Case West.
All dead rising games created by Capcom Japan or Capcom Usa teams?
I've only played part one and it was quite fun but challenging.
First game was Japan, subsequent ones were not.
If I only wanted to put $20 down, I should get the first one, correct?
I don't really like the idea of racing against the clock, but I'll have to see if the additional save slots help in making it a less frustrating experience. I assume you can't just run to the boss in the original, like you can in BB/DS3?

which one is the best in the series according to people?
Also now I'm exited about lost planet 2![]()
But think of all the text you'll actually be able to read this time around!
Dead Rising 2 & Off The Record have online campaign co-op (someone else will need to affirm if they have local or not).Does any of them have campaign coop?

First game, hands down. It's an acquired taste, but it's the most rewarding and tightly structured of the bunch.which one is the best in the series according to people?

DR2 and OTR allow you to play co-op, but there aren't any unique models. You'll have two Chucks or two Franks running around!
On the PC version of Off the Record, it is 100% Frank and Chuck, but in the original it is two Chuck's.DR2 and OTR allow you to play co-op, but there aren't any unique models. You'll have two Chucks or two Franks running around, but since they're based on whatever the player has equipped from their own game, it's not as dupey as it might seem.
Or both of them can wear banana hammocks. Do whatever makes you happy!

Was that official? I don't think I played OTR in co-op at all, but I was under the impression that it was double-up Frank and that Case West is thus far the only actual DR that has separate characters for co-op. I could be wrong, though!
But anyway, long story short, you can play 2 and OTR in co-op.
In celebration of Dead Rising’s 10th Anniversary, we’re bringing Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record to a new generation of zombie slayers on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. OTR definitely made player 2 Chuck

CAN'T FUCKING WAIT. Here comes my Halloween games (^_______^)
VERY curious to see if they can get DR2/OTE running at a solid 60. Wasn't it a pretty CPU intensive engine?
>Xbone
>1080p
>Solid 60 fps
>Open world
I'll believe it when I see it, Capcpom
