As much as I want ArtEEzy to be a thing it's hard to deny that save for the initial S A D B O Y S line up Arteezy has caused teams to become weaker after he's joined them.

It's embarrassing it took them (and is still taking them) 5 years after the launch of the beta to import all heroes into Dota 2. This should have been done 2 years ago.
Since Pit Lord isn't in a state Icefrog is particularly happy with (and hasn't even been included in patches for a while), I would suspect he got some sort of rework. Probably something similar to the Centaur Warrunner treatment: Dota 1 Centaur (pre-Dota 2) had a different ultimate that just a passive that gave a Strength bonus. When he was added to Dota 2 he got Stampede.
As for the others, they probably just had other priorities. Arc Warden was relatively unknown as he was added to Dota 1 after Dota 2 was in full swing, so he was prioritized less, but didn't need a rework (until his nerf of course).

I don't care what anyone says, for me it was the most exciting game of DotA I've ever watched. EG managed to outplay Ehome with a weaker lineup and straight up break their spirit. Prior to that match Ehome looked nearly unbeatable, and in game 2 they looked completely tilted.

Oh nobody will tell you otherwise. It was the best game of Dota I've ever seen, particularly when considering what is at stake now. Universe, Sumail, and Zai carrying EG on their backs. Fear doesn't even have to do anything but look handsome.

Random thought: it's fun to see people's surprise at just how much damage, an aghs, purge-landing, soul catching, dagon-wielding Shadow Demon does. It's always been stupid. Always. He's just criminally underplayed (until all of a sudden at TI6 people remember he exists). Things disappear when SD + Dagon can get a hold of them.
No doubt it hurt his soul to admit that.

He's been picked more for the Disruption setup and illusion push. It's been an integral part of ranged pushing lineups. SD + Drow with some farm melts objectives.

Wow, EG dominating and winning through the upper bracket, only to be matched up in the upper bracket finals against a chinese team full of fresh faces that seemingly came out of nowhere recently and is just performing damn near flawlessly.

EDIT: And Goddamn it, I tapped out and went to bed right before EG vs Ehome started. Not making this mistake again for the rest of the tournament.

Question: Is there any sound effect in dota that is as satisfying as culling blade? I'm so sad that I couldn't watch the EG vs EHOME game 1 after about minute 57 because I had to drive somewhere. I saw the score and the responses and was super sad.

As Chaos Knight, do a phantasm and pop your manta and then reality rift an opponent.
You and all your illusions will hit the opponent at the same time with that THWACK sound. So freaking satisfying.
