Out of curiosity, in your opinion, what would a jump from 1.8 - 4.2 TFlops result in if a title on Neo was locked to 1080p instead of jumping for 4K or somewhere in between?
I mean like instead of jumping for better resolution, they put the power solely for increased graphical quality - better draw distance, higher quality textures, physics?
Would the jump be noticeable from a base PS4 given the considerable increase in GPU power?
Depends how the devs take advantage of it, if they are just turning up the settings it's going to be a lot like what you see on PC when you turn the settings up & I don't think devs are going to go back & re-imaging games because of the higher specs, checkerboard rendering at 4K is probably more beneficial than turning the settings up at 1080P if the games are not being made for the 4.2TF to begin with.
