I'm not too infatuated with the vinyl scene or the miscellaneous extras so I settled for a physical copy of the game. Excited to see what else the company brings forward on the retail field, perhaps "Hyper Light Drifter" in the near future with their established familiarity? Went with priority shipping to avoid some horror stories although I honestly haven't experienced any issues with media mail even with collector sets of films and other games in the past. I was initially going to wait a bit since I already have the HD remaster for 360 in my collection, but potentially limited stock changed my approach. I'm excited that I now have something to play for the PSVR possibly around launch since the entire library is practically all digital downloads besides a two or three titles from my knowledge.
The $5 option was always available for me (for game only, US) for what it's worth.
Lots of VR games are getting retail releases even the smaller games and they're almost all the same price or cheaper than the digital releases (RIGS is £40 on retail compared to £55 on PSN).

Ive had that "glitch" happen to me before on sites using shopify, where some prices just dont show up sometimes :\ Not sure what causes it.
The $5 media mail option was there at the start for the game though.
Hmm. Yeah, it was never there for me when I placed my order. The absolutely cheapest option I had was FedEx Ground Home. I emailed their support line, so we'll see what happens.

I bought the Vinyl and shirt. No way I could miss the art book.
This game has a magical aura around it - a lasting power. Ive bought it like 4 different times now. Its an important piece of art to me - a perfect mesh of eletronic music, abstract art, and interactivity. Nothing has matched it since, not even Child of Eden. I only wish they delved into more experiment electronic music like Autechre, Telefon Tel Aviv, or o9's catalouge. The Gantz Graf video from Autechre basically IS Rez:

Sega is probably the biggest obstacle, which is why we got Child of Eden instead.

That's what I was finding funny about the cheapest shipping option being so high—I've been to iam8bit numerous times. I could be there in like 15~20 minutes.

I've been there too. I wonder if I'm gonna have to wait till October to get my shirt as I'm assuming he's gonna ship it together with the game. Maybe I should reach out and see if he'll let me swing by to grab my shirt so I don't have to wait 8 weeks.
Man, what? Seriously, my cheapest option was $12.66, and next up was like $20 something.

I've been having a difficult time searching for physical PSVR launch titles in the United States. Aside from "REZ Infinite," I'm under the impression that we're just getting "VR Worlds" and "RIGS" around release. Europe appears to be receiving more retail stuff based on Amazon UK listings. There's still plenty of time for new projects to get announced, but I'm only aware of those few games for the moment.

eh, you know, I was sort of considering buying the 2xLP, but fuck it. I don't need it, for one, and on top of that, I think it is overpriced. With companies like DATA DISCS pricing 2xLP at $30 there's no reason I should support iam8bit not even bothering to try to be competitive. If they are lurking, I'd say good luck selling the remaining 4000+ records, and maybe respect your customers a little bit more in the future. It looks like a lovely product and I hope that everyone who orders it feels like they get their money's worth, but give me a break, $75? At least include a download code for the game if you're going to pull that shit. I was happy to buy and support the physical release of Rez, but even with that the game is overpriced compared to LRG's releases and it likely won't even have a manual like those.
