What gaming decive have all competitions start a clean slate every few years? I think iterative model will make one console manifacture become too big to fail, like Windows to PC or iOS/Andriod to mobile.
People thinking Bloodborne is going to get patched...
My reaction exactly. Not only is it not a priority but patching the game would involve them having to talk around the fact that the game didn't really run that well on PS4, initially.

Not really. Between the DLC and MP support, Uncharted 4 is still being actively worked on. Bloodborne isn't. Plus Naughty Dog have a history of patching new system features in once they've been released (see: Uncharted 1's trophy patch).
I'd love to see Bloodborne get patched but just like the frame pacing issues and chromatic aberration, I doubt Sony will do anything about it.
What exactly is so great about starting from a clean slate? I, for one, am at the point where I'd by far prefer not to have to buy a bunch of new accessories or box up my games and put them in my wardrobe.

There is not a thing you can tell me which makes starting from scratch is a good idea.
I fucking had to wait 2 years to get friends online notification on PS4.
And this is just one of the hundreds of things that annoyed the shit out of me on both Xbox One and PS4.
So I dont want their teams to go back to drawing board and redesign the things from scratch. Just take what they have now and literally just make it better.

BB sold about 2.5 million, Uc4 about 4 million and counting I think. I think BB would be more of a purchase for the hardcore while UC4 would be more of a showoff.

I feel that they are gonna have Cerny there so we'll get something comparable to the PS4 reveal.

they probably have someone "on the spot", like they had with the ms e3 presser. if they do, i expect some leaks tomorrow (when they rehearse the show).
