1 hour of ReCore gameplay with Major Nelson and Joseph Staten

Man, I'm gonna bite the bullet and preorder. Only other game I was getting this month anyawy was Phoenix Wright.

Bestbuy's preorder bonuses are odd though - you get a digital copy of Banjo & Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts? Is there uh...any relation there?

(You get the MC's hat if you have GCU as well!)

Will have to watch when I get home. After the last thread, I went and preordered. Giving this nice little game my support- and I miss Staten. ;-;

Game looks good. Honestly never understood the hate it got around here.

Still want to see the reviews but I'm pretty sure I'm buying this.

Just preordered it.

Going retail with this one as the free $15 giftcard using rewards was too good to pass up.

Wow I did not know that Staten was the lead writer for this game. I wondered what happened to him after he left Bungie. Glad he was able to get work right away. To me he was one of the cornerstones that made Bungie what it was.

Oh god, the dashing through the gate part at 21:50.

Wow, lmao.

I will say though that the outside and more open areas of the game have me much more interested than any of the dungeons we've seen so far. Not sure why they decided to rely so heavily on those for all of their gameplay videos... maybe that's just what the game is most of the time.

Had no idea about the 15000 rewards credits ($15) for preordering this. Thanks for the heads up!

Edit: Preordered. For $25 I'm comfortable with what I've seen. Plz be good xD

After watching the whole stream I'm hyped for this. The gameplay has plenty of depth with RPG elements infused. Enemies aren't bullet sponges like the old video makes It seems. He does a good job playing it and being decent at combat. I can't wait to see how pros do. I bet they'll take out the hardest enemies super fast.

Oh so I see now. That short clip was misleading. This game does seem very broad and exciting. They literally took both the Metroid and Mega Man teams and made Mega Man Prime.

This is what they should have been showing, a lengthy playthrough with Joe giving us the hot deets.

Please come back to Halo when you're done creating...

I said in the other thread but I'm getting rise of the tomb raider vibes from it.

Yep, that's what I said as well. I thought it would be that way based off of what Staten said in interviews. Unfortunately I don't have the money right now to preorder, but I definitely will be buying it. No matter reviews (as I don't really pay attention to reviews anyways). I guess most people didn't pay attention to what Staten was saying in those interviews. It was obvious that the whole game wasn't gonna be just about dungeons, but it is what it is. Still excited for this game.

Joseph Staten said the last time he played it completely through it took him about 15 hours to beat the campaign without finishing a lot of the side activities.

Who's got OT?

The stream had done alot more for the game then other clips.

And does Staten always make things sound interesting?

If I buy the physical Xbox One disc, does it come with a code for the Win10 version?

I don't own an Xbox One, but I like the boxart and the physical version is also cheaper with Amazon Prime.

Thats a lot longer then I was expecting. I was thinking 5-6 hours, going by the price.

Yeah, that's why he said it, because he said some people were thinking it was going to be a short campaign due to the price and it isn't.

No, Play Anywhere is only digital.

Only digital has play anywhere. Its not a code also. Its just locked on your account. :)

so you just lock onto enemies and hold fire until they die? what was the whole spiel in the beginning about burst firing your weapon to maintain accuracy for, then?

yo MS

please make staten demo all your games

please

I actually got hyped after seeing this demo, fuck
It's crazy how somebody actually explaining everything carefully and clearly, can make it all make sense. Between seeing this and the IGN first Gears videos where they had the pros playing, It makes a ton of difference
