What the heck is with all these Malcom X answers? I'll admit, I never knew all that much about him until I read up on him now. Keeping races separate, violence, the guy seemed like a total scum bag. Would seem like he would make problems even worse for African Americans today. America would be better off with MLK coming back.

I think he reformed and became far less extreme near the end of his life, which brings me to my question, are we getting extremest Malcolm x or mellowed Malcolm x?

Malcolm X.

I want to see what his presence would mean in modern day America.

Going by some of the stuff I just read about him, wouldn't it just result in even more racism today and more black people losing there lives?

Read something like that, but wasn't that also the reason he got killed?

sounds like you should read up on him, how his views changed throughout his life, yet how true so much of what he would say was at times

I would say Malcolm X both because of how much his precense would mean for the modern world, how much he could infuriate or tango with modern influential figures, while at the same time seeing how his views would continue to evolve. Forget about the modern world, his though had already been evolving throughout his life, and when he died it was like he was cut off before he could finish them all. He'd both be someone that would evolve in light of the modern world while at the same time challenging it and its core beliefs and practices.

Could you even imagine Malcolm X in front of people that call the most minor civil rights protesters extremists and Malcolm X in a post 9/11 world?

He was smart enough to see how balls to the wall crazy the NOI had become and got out of there, and then they killed him. He was a very charismatic and smart guy from what I've seen. He genuinely believed racism could be overcome through Islam after he left the NOI.

I don't know how relevant he would be if he were still alive to be honest. Not to compare them ideologically but Farrakhan is still around and nobody is really paying attention to him like they were at the NOI's peak.

Well, to get back to the OP's question, as much as I want to say Iwata, I'll settle on Princess Diana. I feel with NX coming soon, if it doesn't become a hit, Iwata would end up getting blamed, then fired, and end up retiring from the game industry.

Jackson was a child molester, so no.

Of the other four, probably Malcolm X because his life was violently and purposely stolen from him. He deserves to live it to its rightful end.

X

Muslim black man with the resolve, conviction, vision, and social clout he had in this age? Would be cool to see.

#2? Iwata.

You didn't read enough.

My choice would be solely based on who could convince the modern world that they are the real individual that died and then came back to life so the world could lose its collective shit at the fact that a dead person came back to life, and it was not a faked death. Based on that, I eliminate Iwata first because him dying comparatively recent makes him the easiest for the public to believe it was a hoax. Then Jobs, then MJ. So it comes down to Diana and Malcom X. Although the activist died first and with so many decades at his advantage, this also puts him in a bit of a "it is too unbelievable" zone and it is just simply " conspiracy theory mumbo jumbo", but since the DNA of the the Princess is famous in itself, then Diana gets my vote. She comes with a strategy, convince her son she is real, and then the world can freak out.

I'd think Jobs would top your list. That man could talk anyone into believing anything.

Also, DNA answers doubts for any of them.

People picking Iwata is so bizarre. He has little no impact whatsoever culturally compared to the other 4. He wasn't even close to being in the same ballpark.

Picking MJ is also kind of weird because I am guessing we are talking about middle-aged drugged up MJ who was a shadow of his former self.

The other 3 are actual solid picks culturally speaking.

I think it would be pretty hard to convince people that Jobs didn't just hide in an island or something. MJ makes a lot of sense too, but the appeal to authority of having the already public figure son of Diana saying it is the real thing seems like the extra point that makes the difference imo.

Princess Diana

She was a class act who died far too young.

I never liked Michael Jackson, and Princess Di soars above the others in my book.
