Hot coffee and 2-0!

Vikings won, huh. I fell asleep around the time Al was like "The Vikings finally get back a fumble!" or something. The last page figuring the Packers out is quite a read.

I would like to agree, but the offense is what it is. They played exactly the same last year. There really isn't any logical reason to think, 'yep, they'll figure it out this week.'
The Chargers just absolutely worked a Jaguars team that gave the Packers a run for their money. It comes down to Rodgers, and he isn't playing well (and that's an understatement).

Secondary played a shit game, but overall the defense did a good job - gave the offense plenty of chances. Rodgers isn't making quick decisions and we waste runs with Lacy who has no burst.

I said it before week 1, I don't expect this team to do anything this year.

Now my baby is asleep and I can go back to bed.

Yeah our reactions are based more on how they had all summer to get this offense together and it's still shit. This isn't just two games but a trend going back to 2014.

It's sad because Rodgers is still relatively young and our defense might shake out to be a top 10 defense this season if the secondary can pull together. Just haven't seen the offense play consistently in so long at this point.

I feel like when the Packers lost that Thanksgiving game against the Bears is when I started to wonder if they were even gonna get into the postseason. Watching them at least for the first half did seem like very little happened for them in the offseason offensive-wise.

What a let down from the Texans yesterday. They didn't rush for 100 yards as a team nor did they score 2 touchdowns. That means no free chicken nuggets from Mcdonalds or free monster taco from Jack in the Box. Way to let down the fans.

Guess we have to settle for starting the season 2-0.

Good morning friends. At some point yesterday, someone posted a pic of RG3 in a Browns uniform with the title "The RG3 Era in Cleveland: April 11 to April 16, 2016" or something similar.

Anyone have this pic saved? Or can repost it? I have a co-worker who would really benefit from seeing it.

Thanks!

By benefit.. You mean become depressed right?

Thought same :(

Packers fans really crank it up to 11 when they lose. That was literally the worst offensive game they could have played and lost by 3. Still only week 2 and they played two road games. I think they have a bunch of home games now and they'll figure it out

They only lost by three because one of our touchdowns came via The Flacco Special.

The Bills scored 2 TDs against the Jets. I'll gladly trade you records if that would make you feel better.

It's gonna be a long season

that feeling when I should have started kirk cousins over aaron rodgers like I originally wanted to and was convinced not to do so by you guys ...

So I just spent my entire free period looking through this thread for that pic ...

Happy Monday!

Edit: And Google finally comes through at the buzzer!

Happy Monday!

The Giants won yesterday despite being -3 in turnovers and not scoring a single offensive touchdown. The last time that happened was almost ten years ago when the Bears beat the Cardinals in 2006. Why might that game sound familiar?

We really should've blown KC out. I mean what better way to get those things for free?

:lol

It's amazing that the only elite NFL QB's playing are Big Ben Scam and the Pats back ups.
Ben was garbo when it was raining.

I assumed his big strong hands would have helped with that. Granted the Bungles could not throw in the rain either but I figured AB/Ben would work in any weather.

It's quite amazing how Rex takes over and destroyed the defense the Bills had.

Agreed. Ryan never should have been hired and Schwartz never should have been pushed out. I feel like if they kept him the team would have been in the playoffs last year or, at the very least, would be challenging hard this year for a spot. It was such a formidable set up and it was just gutted with his arrival. As it stands I feel like they're several years out from sniffing the postseason.

First coached fired, Jay gruden?

I think the days of the Redskins knee jerk jettisoning a coach on the back of a poor season are gone. I could be wrong and if it gets really really bad, its certainly possible but I think he survives the season.

My money is still on Rex. If the Bill lose to a Brissett led Pats team in week 4, all gloves are off, IMO.

Texans going to lose to a team lead by Brisket

Reminds me of when Texans beat Steelers and we had like 1 first down the whole game.
The Defense single handed won the game.
