1. LOL if you think this is anything that comes close in the same hemisphere as violating any type of "consumer protection law"
2. still don't see how you can try to spin that it's ok in this case as it's "paid for" but early access isn't. Maybe if it wasn't for all the hyped people paying the extra $40 for the Ultimate Edition for Forza 6, MS wouldn't have even contracted out to Playground again for FH3. I mean after all FH2 didn't sell that well.
3. If you don't care about official release dates, why have this discussion? Yep people who paid extra got to play it early. Guess what? I went on a cruise last summer. People on it paid extra for concierge level. They not only got better rooms, but got the ability to book excursions before everyone else, got to have their own lounge with "free" (lol) booze, got to be the first ones to board the ship, no waiting in line, etc.
This kind of "benefit" happens in many industries, don't try to act like it's some violation of law, anti-consumer, blah blah blah. You are making a mountain out of an anthill.
