You had to have played Halo 5 or the Master Chief Collection and you're supposed to get a message from Xbox with a code.
If you haven't played those games, there is going to be a Forzathon event soon after release that should make it easy to win the Warthog.

Just pre-ordered my ultimate edition for store pick-up on Friday. It was only $80 with GCU so that made the price easier to swallow. I'm also a steelbook freak and this one looks sexy as shit. It'll look real good next to my Doom steelbook. So pumped to be getting this early!

So with the blueprint thing you're not actually making the race tracks/courses yourself at all are you? You're just picking the pre-made track and choosing what class of cars, etc can run it? Booo.
I haven't been watching any of the reviews/videos because I want some of the environments to be a surprise so I haven't been able to get all the information on blueprints.

Speaking from my experience with Forza 6, VIP status doesn't share. The cars in the VIP pack will be shared, but not the earnings boost, gifted cars, little crown, and whatever else VIP gets.

Yeah, only the existing tracks. You can choose the weather, time of day, time progression, etc. Plus limit it to premade vehicle or create a class with a custom selection of vehicles.
It would've been awesome to create your own route but I can understand why it's not in there, there's only so much you can do in a 2 year dev time.

I can't seem to purchase Forza Horizon through the Microsoft store. It constantly says we are having technical difficulties. Is there a workaround or should I wait till tomorrow morning and hope this issue is resolved by then?
Was playing on my kids account this morning and she did get the vip bonuses. Wait on the vip before you spend the money. You won't lose out if you don't have it right away anyways.

Anyone here use the Elite Xbox controller with Forza? The wife just got me one for my birthday and I am looking for suggestions on how to best utilize it.
It was on the xbox. She got a level up wheel spin and the vip credit doubler was applied.

And finally the most important question answered. She does have a crown icon.
I just use it like a regular controller, I've seen some people try to use the paddles to shift and say it doesnt fell right. The best part of teh controller for me on Forza is using the triggers I feel like a have way more control over the throttle and brakes especially since I never use ABS.
ACG / Karak goes over it in his review. Says he'd rather play in HDR than on PC
