Week 4 bye is much needed. So many injuries on defense. Love how they can stuff the run but giving up back to back 200 yd receivers?

Great the Giants have to play Monday and have to face the Packers on 6 days rest, while you off 2 weeks, I thought we could win this game, but now with all that prep time....idk.

-A lot of the New England sycophant media talk up Josh McDaniels as the best HC candidate, but I Belichick is as involved in that offense as he is the defense. Jim Schwartz is the guy I'd hire. He is the guy in charge of the defense in Philly, and he took over from a 0-16 Lions and got them to the playoffs. The Harbaugh thing was embarrassing and he is a bit of a hot head, but so are Mike Zimmer and Bruce Arians

-Ryan Tannehill is just never going to get it. He has been hit a lot but he doesn't have any pocket awareness

-Denver is the most impressive team right now. They can play defense. They can run the ball, and their QB can throw it. ST are an issue but that's what you get with Kubiak.

-AFCS is a joke. Titans and Jags are year after year in the toilet. If the Colts somehow win the division the Texans should be relegated to the Big 12

-Tampa is a team that could have a really quick turnaround isf some smart people got involved. Lots of talent there but a bad coach and questionable GM

(True story: After the game, league sources said Browns special teams coach Chris Tabor wanted his team to sign free agent kicker Robbie Gould on Friday when Cleveland’s first-string kicker Patrick Murray sustained a knee injury. But Browns management decided Gould is too expensive and so they went with Parkey — who practically single-handedly lost the game for them.)

---

Parkey joined the team on Friday night after regular kicker Patrick Murray suffered a knee injury. Word after the game was that Browns coaches preferred to sign long-time Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould to fill the spot, but they were overruled by the front office.

Yeah, AFCS looks like it's between the Colts and Texans again like most recent years.

Still very early, but i think it's a safe bet.

Chargers game was ugly as shit, both teams hurt, and both QBs were throwing some shitty balls. Rivers looks like he's declining because good lord did he bail our D out with some inaccurate passes. He usually carves us. Anyway, much needed win.

P.S this Colts roster is crap overall, team will go as far as Luck can carry them this year. And if he's still turning it over like he used to it will be a steep climb. O-line was terrible yesterday, Luck running for dear life on almost half his dropbacks.

Wait, Jets had 8 turnovers? Holy shit!

One of the most unique games I have seen. Fitz kept turning it over but the Jets defense would quickly force a punt. I kept thinking that KC would eventually pay for not doing anything on offense, but nope. Fitz just kept throwing INTs

The Dolphins are fucking trash. Bottom five defense, no running game, and a QB with no consistency. I like Gase and I hope he gets at least five years but this team is a complete wreck right now.

Defense needs to get younger and faster. Alonso, Maxwell, Suh, Mario Williams... they aren't working. Reshad Jones is an incredible talent but he is the only defensive player who gives a shit and his prime is being wasted.

Bucs play Denver and Carolina next, 1-4 here we come. The good news is they can bounce back with a string of mediocre teams- 49ers, Raiders, Falcons Bears. They could 5-4. Who am I kidding they might win 4 games this season.

It's honestly amazing how bad their D looks. They were getting shredded by a combination of Pryor and Kessler for shits sake.

Not to be that guy Squicken but the single source for that is Grossi and it was said on the Browns after game radio show. Maybe he did hear that but I can't say he stated it like a fact. Grossi is also always trying to stir up controversy .......

If anything they probably just went with the younger kicker looking towards the future. Even though parkey put up the dogshit performance, I was kinda happy we signed him because I thought he was promising.
But we should probably cut him now

also weekly reminder that reading Grossi isn't just bad for your health, but my health as well 😞

Browns Football People: We want to win

Browns Management: We don't want to spend money

EDIT: Apparently Blake Bortles has only thrown 2 first quarter TD's in his career.

He only has 17 TDs in the first half his entire career. Derek Carr eclipsed that his rookie season.

Bortles is a Garbage Time Master.

Seems some other crazy person went on a shooting spree, this time in Houston.

They are still not giving enough details.

Edit:Caught. 8 people wounded. Hopefully no one dies.

Was freaking out yesterday about that eagles game, feel a little better after a win.

Eagles and giants are both more talented than us, so I'm not hopeful about our chances. Still a fun team to watch, defense has to keep improving, especially stopping the run.

Eli Manning completed 15 on 21 targets for 264 yds, 17.6 avg, 1 TD, 0 INT to OBJ, Shep & Cruz. Otherwise, 10-17 for 86 yds, 8.6 avg, 2 INT.

I missed out on posting here during and after the game but wow never did I expect the Eagles to be 3-0 which includes a win over the Steelers.

I knew the D would be much better. Had to be due to the TOP plus the talent that was already there, Schwartz as DC, & the talent they brought in. Corner is still a concern but can't have everything.

The offense though - Wentz, Pederson, the line all so much better than I expected.

I'll gladly keep eating this crow they serve me.

I hearby declare an alliance between the Vikings and Eagles.

Soon the league and its fans will grow tired of our revolution and these two teams will have none besides each other to rely on.

"Fuck the packers! Fuck the Cowboys!"

"QB cousins till we die!"

That Vikings v Eagles game could conceivably be between two undefeated teams. That trade might be a rare win-win
