Okay, so if understanding you correctly, there's a limitation with the cartridge, that leads to the fixed number of card slots? Or are you talking about a patch update?

If you're looking for Jirachi or Celebi, I have extras available for trade. Looking for an Arceus that I missed earlier this summer.

Also have Meloetta and Darkrai as options for anyone else who might have an Arceus.

Since Jirachi and Celebi were both over Wifi, it's probably unlikely they'll get another event. Darkrai was at gamestop and so was mew so that's why they got second ones. Arceus should be the next to get a repeat.
 
Restarted my living Dex quest a couple of months ago so I've missed a few mythicals this year but I already had most except Manaphy and Mew... Is it pretty much for sure Mew won't be distributed again? Pretty sad, as the original mythical that was the one I wanted the most.

Also any word on Hoopa outside the US :(

Can still get Mew in Japan untilFebruary.

As for Hoopa, unfortunately Europe/Australia have had their second chance event already

Nothing is sure, but they already distributed it twice this year, so I wouldn't expect it soon...

It has also been offered twice this year in EU, I wouldn't expect to see him again soon :/
 
Welp that's disappointing but thanks for the information. I'll set my expectations accordingly I suppose, guess I'm gonna have to be patient to complete my dex.

Now my living Dex is only missing Volcanion (coming soon!), Diancie, and... Chandelure and Aegislash, because the RNG refuses to give me Dusk Stones.

They need to do Arceus over wifi cuz they didn't send out many of those codes
 
I found 4 EU codes for shiny Xerneas that was distributed few months back. I tested one and it still worked, so I'm giving other 3 away.

Optimally I'd like to trade 1 for Ho-oh, but if first 3 quoters don't have one or don't wan't to trade then they can just have it, no big deal.
 
Anyone have an extra NA Volcanion they could give me? I have no chance of getting a code. Would really appreciate it.

Edit: Is Volcanion even out yet? Sorry :lol

I don't have Ho-oh but would you consider trading one EU Xerneas code away for a EU Arceus code?

I don't have a Ho-oh, but I believe someone on GTS would eventually trade you one for a Milotic, as I got some legendaries that way, and they are easy to get on the Hoenn remakes. And if I could get a code, I would appreciate it.

I do have a stack of extra-legendaries and mythicals, so I know it wouldn't take too long. Honestly, I'd just rather not bother with GTS. The amount of hacked mons and people trading their Nidorans to lvl 10 Mews pisses me off.

They are, to my knowledge, the only legendaries/mythicals I missed out on in the past couple of years, and I'm getting sooooooo damn close to completing my living Pokedex. I think I'm at 714 of 721 or so, and just have a new game of Y to get through for some of the Y-exclusives I'm missing.

I have all four 3DS Pokemon titles, so I have dupes of all of the 2016 monthly distributions, as well as some ORAS and XY end-game dupes that I could part with. Or, will soon have those dupes. If interested, please PM me, so I don't regularly check this thread, or GAF.

Hoopa is being distributed right now

So I've got a couple of questions that I can't seem to find a straight answer for.

I live in Aus and have a PAL 3DS and copy of Y. Is it possible to use a vpn or something to download American wifi events?

I also have a Japanese 2DS with a Japanese copy of AS, can I access Japanese wifi events and codes even though my ip will obviously be Australian? Where can I see current and upcoming Japanese events because I can only find PAL/NA events.

Pokemon events are not usually IP locked, you have access to events depending on the region of your game/system. So if you have a JP pokemon you can get a JP event pokemon, it doesn't matter where you are. The only ones that you won't have access to are the local event distribution (ie. going to an ebgames or gamestop or mcdonalds).
 
When does the Volcanion event go live? I haven't gone to Gamestop yet but my friend says his codes say the gift is not there every time he enters them
