Yeah, GB is a bit too jaded for me, honestly. I sometimes feel like they don't even enjoy gaming in general. I fell that I need to spice them up with EasyAllies to get a balanced view.

Great, I'm not necessarily after someone telling me it's dreadful and I should cancel my preorder. But we know there's no perfect VR solution right now, and this is likely to be the least proficient hardware wise of the 3 and I ordered knowing and accepting that. Therefore what I want is something that acknowledges the flaws as well as the inevitable plus points
 
i'm like...95% about to cancel my preorder but wanted to check the stream first

still feel like it's. it gonna be supported in a year and $400 is a big pill to swallow

I think it's more that video games have been such a major part of their lives for so long that they just know what they like.

Eh, specs-wise this is generally true, but actual impressions seem pretty balanced so far. That extra full-size subpixel and the better optics are nothing to scoff at.

Well it's the only one I can have without a PC so if it turns out to be great I'll be more than happy!

Actually, i was surprised that on their previous podcast Jeff and others seemed to have quite a good opinion on psvr and Jeff had decided to buy his own Vive vr set. So they definitely are not against vr a lot, is just that a lot of games are pretty crap until now. Everyone is hoping psvr come and save the day but i am not too confident that will happen yet. Really looking forward to this stream!

Different strokes I guess. Resogun, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Until Dawn and Driveclub were all amazing. Everything else I've played felt average, but enjoyable. Upcoming line up looks great too.

Anyway, I enjoyed the Vive and Oculus streams so tuning in for this. They've had VR for a while now so it'd be interesting to see if the wow factor has worn off for them.

The low delay is huge for me. I can finally stream games live with my friends back home without jury-rigging some weird skype solution.

To be fair, when it comes to Sony, they haven't had the best track record of people being happy with their reactions lol.

People forget that they've been doing this for a loooooooong time. It's not that they hate video games, they just don't get hyped for every single thing like some fans do.

If you need that type of positive reinforcement, you came to the wrong place. They'll only back something if they truly like it.
 
I'm expecting them to have similar opinions to PSVR as Oculus, perhaps more positive due to better software.

VR is all about the room scale and hand controllers for Giant Bomb as far as I can tell from the stuff I've watched. Vive is king here.

Ehh screw my afternoon at work.

The office is empty so got the freedom to watch the boys dive into PSVR.
Wasn't live stream meant to be live by now?
