Giant Bomb PSVR stream | It's always Summer in PlayStation VR Nation

Given Jeff's growing discontent with traditional controller based VR games, I'm guessing the consensus will be a plus for amount of fleshed out games, negative for the lack of roomscale.

The lack of delay is insane, it runs really well, it has gameification stuff, it looks real nice, there will likely be less people chatting than other places.

People don't actually care about how well it runs. Note how long everyone complained that twitch didn't use an html5 player, it eventually rolled out wide and didn't make a blip on anyone's radar. This was ahead of the Twitch Prime announcement. Youtube Gaming's existence is entirely indicative of how irrelevant the feature set of a streaming service is if you're not managing to pull in streamers or events people care to watch.

this is a really good overlay for jeff with the added advantage he almost completely blocks dan from view! (jks)

Glasses are completely fine with the PSVR, at least based on my experience with one at one of the Best Buy demo stations.

e: Man, those cables lol.

That is definitely a ton of cables. At least the headset looks great.

I think Jason is drunk or half-sleeping in the control booth.

These tracking issues were exactly my concern with PSVR. Bootstrapping non-VR hardware (camera and Move controllers) sounded questionable from the get-go.

I had no issues with tracking in the 15-20 min demo at GameStop but you do have that backdrop. I wonder if playing in mostly the dark will help? I'm not sure. That's disappointing if I get the same results :/
