Giant Bomb PSVR stream | It's always Summer in PlayStation VR Nation

Only games that've caught my eye so far are Rez Infinity & Battlezone, seeing as how PSVR is the cheapest of the big VR options out there, I could see myself getting one in a year or two. Battlezone really makes me wish there was a Gundam VR game.

Seeing as the last first person Gundam game was on the Dreamcast and fucking awesome, I really hope VR gives them enough incentive to make another one.

But atm Battlezone is the only game I have preordered.

That constant pulsing back and forward causes me immense motion sickness. Playing Turing Test on PC there were moments when idling would have that same pulse and I would immediately have to stop. I can't even imagine dealing with it in VR.

I had no problems during my demo. There was a large wall placed right behind me. Maybe that helped the camera track the headset more accurately.

I can't help thinking he's a bit too far from the camera, and has he got the light for the controller on 'dim'? It doesn't look very bright.

They repeated what they said at the start of the stream. They are playing in the recommended space, and the issues were present at home where they sat closer to the tv.

What issues for those that missed the start of it? Is the head tracking not working properly or something?

This is what is great about these live streams. They react on the fly to feedback and can demonstrate what is going on over a long period of time.

They're within half a foot of the ideal distance

If the tolerance is that low, it should not be a consumer product

Game jitters. All the playfield assets, on-screen controllers, everything that seems to be visible to Jeff and should be stable is constantly jittering(think of a camera constantly trying to 'focus' as the image is fading in and out and I guess that may help to understand). Was really making Jeff and others sick.

This is probably Microsoft tape, can't trust it

And we all know how MS is with measurements...

So, if I am 5 feet away, do I need like 4 feet of open space behind me? Because there is no way I can do that.
9 feet might be the horizontal requirement so you can still move a bit and stretch your arms out for tracking. Having reach of 6+ feet is not uncommon.

It's not like the tech needs air there for the technology to literally function. It's recommending cleared space for experiences where you'd be moving around.

Because otherwise you'd be bumping into things.
