I just came home from work so I did not watch the stream yet. But I might just do the same, save up for VR with no compromises.

With Vive you have to make compromises on content though. PC VR is already half dead. Sales stalled and installed base is pretty small so I doubt you'll see lots of big VR games outside of PSVR... Hardware without software isn't worth much.

Thankfully Vive has a library several times bigger than PSVR, and the actual big games for PSVR seem to be pretty far off.
