What's that from? It's from a map that hasn't been shown yet. Is it from a video?

Question for the pc folks. I am planning on making a new origin account and subbing to another month of ea access on that one for 10 more hours of gameplay. Has anyone done that before? Would I need to redownload the game?

Quoting myself in hopes of getting an answer.

Any tips on aiming sensitivity? On PC and feels off in the accuracy. I know the weapons aren't 100% accurate but my aiming is always off at distance.

Is it worth turning on uniform Solider aim?

I had to actually go down to about 14-15 and I'm fairly new to kb/mouse. Feels more steady and not so jumpy.

I want to play really bad.... But I am saving the rest of my hours for this weekend, there is supposed to be a huge storm up here in Seattle, so it will be perfect.

Sound more like lack of practice than anything game related. You want lower DPI/Sensitivity, it will feel weird at first having to move your mouse so much to turn, etc, but you get used to it after a couple days.

Lower sensitivity helps you get those shots that require more precision and after you build your muscle memory you're able to turn very quickly but also do flick shots, etc.

Here's a quick guide to get you started.

It really should have been the French. I don't know what DICE was thinking. At least they are coming in the first DLC.
I would like to believe it was EA that pressure DICE into making America as a fraction And since DICE barely got it approve to make a WW1 game. Since America is the major shooter market. But each thier own.

I get up at 7:30am for work. Last night I played until nearly 2:00am. So fucking good.

Only problem I have is some stuttering when flying in third person, high up. Exact same thing happens in Battlefront (and I never used to have it). I don't know if it's an issue introduced in Frostbite, in the way it handles data streaming over vistas. Or if it's Nvidia drivers being shit. Instability in an overclock. Or my system choking (doubt that, given 1080 and 6700K).

Anybody else notice it?

I sort of agree with you, I'll take a look at the article though thanks. I think it is practice needed. I don't have much of an issue in other FPS on PC, but I also wondered is it worth turning on uniform Solider aim thing?

Probably, like the base game should have been:

Allies:
UK
France
Russia

America and Italy could have been DLC.

Central Powers is fine because there were only four of them. Bulgaria wasn't really a huge player.

However, since they are making a French DLC. I'm assuming there will probably be a Russian one.

What's the consensus guys? PS4 user here, wondering if I should keep my preorder. There's just so many shooters coming out right now!

Agreed and there is a Russian DLC coming out as well.

Has anyone had a problem unlocking weapons. I have the proper level and warbonds and the weapon header is green, but I cant unlock anything.

Anyone else getting the "you have $ hours left" message every 5 min? Its really annoying. I've been killed multiple times because of it.

Just tried Operations, shit was intense. Operations and Rush might be my main modes now.

Pushed until the very last point with our last try, almost had it but lost it at the last second.

Keep it. It's fantastic.

COD is COD, just more of the same for me.

Titanfall 2 Beta didn't capture my interest with there being so many changes from TF1, I know they're trying to rectify them but eh; I'll wait 'til people have gotten it's hands on it before deciding.

Hold on, I just realized the full release isn't until the 21st. Shit... no way my 10 hours are going to last until then!

Also the IGN/Gamespot beef is hilarious.

Consensus you ask? Likely the shooter of the year, if not the GOTY. It's that good. How's that for a consensus!

U.S. with an Xbone here. When I go into the EA Access app to try and download the trial, it still says "Coming Soon", even though at the top it also says "starting October 13th". What hell?

EDIT: I just needed to do more research. Turns out you have to find it in the Demos section on the Store. I am downloading now and can't wait!

Some of these maps look fantastic.... how do they play?

I've played one the big castle map and it was fantastic, a lot people were using snipers and I had a medic setup I didn't feel as I was at a disadvantage.

I did play smart though, went for objectives I knew we could capture, spawned in sensible locations not under fire, used cover to move from point to point and used my weapons range to my advantage.

Someone else could've used the same class in the same game and had a very different experience it's all about how you approach the situation I guess. It was different for me as I usually play BF games with a squad of friends I've been playing with for years. This particular game was me and a group of randoms which made me change my approach to spawning and made me extra cautious of my surroundings as I had zero communication with my squad mates which was completely alien to me.

To be honest I do remember experiencing random bullet deviation in the beta, especially with rifles when firing as quickly as possible so you might be referring to that, it's best to take more steady accurate shots than start firing as fast as possible in BF1.

I haven't messed with that uniform soldier aim setting, but if I remember correctly it uses some sort of calculation to approximate your hip fire sensitivity to match the ADS sensitivity, if it's calculating it every single time it might end up not being accurate and you don't really want that if you want to get better at aiming and building muscle memory.

This game is really fantastic but I'm having a lot of connection issues.

I am really enjoying it on console even. Might pick up the ps4 version along with the pc one once it goes on sale.

The xb1 does seem to have some significant performance drops that were making the controls even feel laggy.

Oh my God! Seeing a monkey laugh is one of the best things, ever!
It's an orangutan, but you know, we're apes at our core. If you're ever with a bunch of friends (IRL or party chat even) and contagious laughter strikes, you may notice that the sound of everyone laughing super hard is extremely reminiscent of monkey sounds.

Is Amiens a remake a Seine Crossing? I've only watched videos but the layout looks very similar. Seine was one of my all time favorite BF maps so it would be awesome if it was.

this may be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find an answer. I have been playing the trial using Origin Access for the past few hours and been having a blast, it's convinced me to buy the game. If I purchase it now, will I still be able to play after the trial (10 hours) ends, even before release?

kinda lame that even if you purchase the early enlister edition after 10 hours they make you wait a few days >.> What's even the point?

No, once the 10 hours are over you will have to wait until release.
