I have one PAL Volcanion code to give out. Hopefully I'll get another 2 or 3 on Saturday.

No one's guessed right yet, so I'll give out a clue:

The Pokemon I was looking at was available in Gen 5.


It's also not a super obscure Pokemon that most people would never guess (ie you can rule out all but the well known NFEs and any Pokemon that are bad but not memorably so).

Looking for 1-2 Volcanion PAL codes (my girlfriend & me).

It's absolutely stunning how bad the promotion of the Volcanion event in Germany was. I have been contacting three different Müller stores with no luck at all after trying to find out for several day who is actually giving out any codes. Pretty sure Gamestop was named in the very first German press release but they don't seem to be part of the give-away at all.
 
Are there any spare NA Volcanion codes around that people are willing to part with? I don't have anything to offer in return unfortunately. I've been trying to hit up GameStops near me, one didn't have codes and the other didn't know what I was talking about and I didn't have the time to explain to them, but they didn't seem like they had codes anyway... I have more GameStops I could go too but they're much more out of the way for me.
 
I hate how inconsistent Gamestop people can be with the giveaway cards.

The one 5 minutes from me only gives one per person, per day. So I can come back another day and get one. I just want two, but it's annoying to have to drive over to it twice just to get something I could have gotten in one trip.

But at the Gamestop I just went to I asked for Volcanion and the first question the guy asked was "how many do you want?" haha.

That outghta reduce the number of possibilities significantly.

Catching up on this topic I'm super annoyed I missed out on hoopa in the pal region, I've managed to get each one, but completely missed hoopa back in April.

How very annoying.
 
So what's the deal with Hoopa in NA? Serebii says the code is 2016Hoopa but that is not enough characters for the code? Do I have to go to Gamestop for that one too?
 
Oh my god I missed out on Hoopa because of that Serebii info. If I'd have known I could have had my wife enter the code for me while I was out of town... So now I still need Hoopa AND Volcanion.

Looks like technically I've missed out on Mew, Celebi, Manaphy, and Darkrai as well, but at least I already have those in other games I can always trade over...
