Haven't posted here anything after the reveal, and now 13 hours or so later I'm finally calmed down so I'll go ahead and say it: This is exactly what I wanted this thing to be, but better because of how much they went down on the whole console experience on the go thing. The way it looks is futuristic and the matte thank YOU GOD that it wasn't reflective finger print trapping garbage like the Wii U. The way you slide the Joy Cons onto the sides of the thing, and then simply take it out of the dock to take it on the go with no other issues/steps is SO SATISFYING, especially the click noise. But in my opinions what's even cooler is how this thing is basically a mini TV you can take with you and use the little kick stand to sit up and play exactly like your at home. You can even use the improved pro controller (Which I might add, looks amazing) on the go if you choose to, as well as have other people join you on the same screen with the Joy Con controllers which I think are so cool. I can imagine so many situtations where I could just prop this up and start playing. Not to mention, holy crap if you told me last night that Bethesda was supporting this thing I would've laughed my butt off. And as for the reveal/marketing itself I think it is miles better than Wii U's trash revealing. You mean there's a trailer for a Nintendo system that isn't generic families playing Wii Sports and instead actually the demographic that plays the system. Speaking of which, did any one else notice this time there were ZERO Wii Sports esque crappy party games with motion control gimmicks, and only games shown off that actual Nintendo gamers would be interested in (Save the basketball thing). I know there wasn't really an in your face slogan for this reveal but I feel like the music and the constant Switch "clicking" noise and logo movement every time they SWITCHed to a different scene worked really well. That's another thing, the logo is so cool. It's like the yin yang type of thing and very simply shows the Joy Cons. The design of the system is surprisingly super CLEAN in my opinion. You think system with detactchable controllers and dock and immediately thing of something with a questionable make. In my opinion, the whole thing just looked so smooth. You firmly lock those controllers in and it IS a handheld. It also looks extremely satisfying to put it in the dock and take it out. All in all, so far I think this is FANTASTIC.
