But let's be fair. He was a political rival of Adams' (and ran against Adams for the presidency before being given the job as his VP). So yeah, he was a little shitty toward his boss. He was human.
But I'll stack his accomplishments as a politician and Founding Father against pretty much anyone else.
And please, let's not get into character attacks. We're talking political accomplishments. Bringing up other shit during this kind of discussion is like Republicans bringing up Bill Clinton being a cheating scumbag when discussing his presidential accomplishments.
