I still have 4 invites left. Do we know if this ends at midnight or later tomorrow?
This deal ends at midnight eastern tonight (18 minutes from now!) according to the Perks at Work site.
If you want one, it has to be now.

My roommate and I are splitting the cost of the 55 inch so I'm essentially getting it for $366 dollars plus tax. So 394 in the end for me. This is such a great deal. I was thinking about waiting a bit before I got a ps4 pro but now I will definitely get one this month.
If you buy from Samsung direct you're pretty much stuck with the TV if it has more than usual light bleed or a few dead pixels? Don't get me wrong, it's a great deal but sounds like you're taking a gamble on getting a good set.
For what I paid for the 60" at Costco I could get the 65" and save myself $200. It's very tempting but not sure I want to risk it.
I'm down for an invite.

Ok we don't have much time left so you need to get in there and buy!
PM me your first name, last name, and email address and I will send one out to you right away.
What is the easiest way to check light bleed and dead pixels on these KS8000s once we get them?
Done.
Ordered the 55" KS8000.
Absolutely insane deal. 25% lower than one day sale prices.
Yes, and it's thanks to you! Thanks Flandy!Just in time![]()

Kids don't need food, right?
Good thinking. Eat the kids. Two birds etc etc.Neither do you
Deal just ended, 55" ks8000 just went back up to $929.
Strangely, the 65" ks8000 & ks8500 are still on sale for $1279 and $1249 though, so there are still good deals available.
what? buying directly from the company is worst then buying it from retailers?
this is new lol
I am someone who encourages people to buy stuff from Apple, Microsoft, Sony, Samsung etc. stores directly. If its their product, they provide the best customer service to you.
Not really. It is just more of a hassle but defects are easily refundable without any restocking fees. Besides the price is unbeatable. The 65" will easily cost you almost 1/4th more at Costco ie. $450 more and it is on a sale there as well. Light bleed and dead pixels you should check for on any set right away as it is.
its 9.25 percent here..so yeah for me thats through the roof LOL..you are lucky..but even with tax, 700 plus tax is pretty darn good for a 55 inch TV that just came out this year..any idea what the 48 inch goes for?
9.8% in Washington. So you guys aren't too far behind.
I still can't set up a perksatwork.com account due to the "email already in use" thing. Has anyone found a solid solution to this?
Hey Art, I think i can explain exactly how I got in, I just reproduced it by submitting another password reset request. Basically it seems even though you were rejected, your account is probably there anyway. Do this:
- go to perksatwork.com (not the invite link) and hit the "forgot password" link.
- hopefully if it's the same for you as me, you'll enter your email and receive a password reset email
- you'll get a link that will take you back to what appears to be the exact same registration screen that you couldn't get past before, but this time just click the help center link below the form
- you should get to a contact us page. now click search above, type samsung, get the link, hope it works!
Hey Art did you get it? I was rooting for you, which, by the way, is opposite of what I'd normally do. But lately, I've been trying this thing where I do the exact opposite of everything I'd normally do. So far, it's working out great. Best idea I've ever had.
Edit: got a "Complete your registration" email a little later, and just now I was able to go to a link that let me successfully update my password, so I think I can actually log into my account normally now.
What's the go to option for Full array backlighting? 60" or higher
And why aren't people waiting for Black Friday? Is there no "good time of year" to wait to buy a tv anymore?
The best FALD sets are Sony ZD9 and Panasonic DX900 (Europe only). What's the go to option for Full array backlighting? 60" or higher

I know this has been covered but what is the go with the HDMI Switcher to make the PSVR/4k HDR experience easier?
What Sony?I asked in another thread but got no answers. If you could choose between these two TV's, which one would you get? General use, gaming/movies/watching TV. And for those who would answer the Sony, would you still say that if money wasn't an issue?

Does this mean the best suggestion is to wait then? Until OLED response time goes down? Will it ever? What Sony?
Either way, the KS8000 and B6 are both good sets, so it kind of depends on what's the most important to you. If input lag is major factor for you, for instance, go with the Samsung. If it doesn't matter that much, and you want the best picture quality, go with the OLED.
Heia Norge forresten.
Hey guys,
I bought a Sony X850D 4K HDR TV recently and I'm really happy with it, but yesterday when I played Last of Us in HDR, I noticed that the TV gets brighter as soon as there are subtitles on the screen.
I haven't had a chance to look in the options so I was wondering if someone could tell me where to turn that off. I assume it's something like auto-brightness ?
