hopefully there's no shipping delay for the "55" my current set is 7 yrs old and has several long noticeable scratches on the screen
Anyone left with an invite? Ready to pull the trigger on the 55 ks8000. At a shade over $700.00 that's an incredible price point for this tv.
Did you use a Canadian credit card? I can't figure out how to buy it using my Canadian credit card or PayPal.
Welp, bought the 55". RIP me with Washington State tax rates. gah.
I put the order in and I have a number, but my orders page is empty and I have no confirmation email....hmmm...
Check your PMs... you got my final invite ;-) Enjoy!
I ordered online earlier in the night on a credit card, then cancelled. When I went to buy in store they had it all good to go and I swiped my credit card and the money hadn't gone back on yethow did they get you? just manager said no?
Yes. Just use the same address as your shipping address (whatever you're using for border handling) for the billing address. If your credit card provider rejects the transaction just call them to have that address temporarily added to your account
Yeah especially that King County 9.5% rate. I received my confirmation email probably after 5-10 mins. Maybe took 30 mins for it to show up on my account under orders.
I have one invite remaining.
Yes! Me too. I have to get a TV that fits on a narrow stand, too, thanks to some architectural quirks in how my living room is designed. Only thing that kept me from getting the KS8000 today. Looks like it'll be a Sony or LG at some point for me.

Worth a shot man. Just have it open on your phone ready to show them the price.Well I'm going to go try. As the saying goes, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
Was gonna buy a 4K set this year. I pretty much use my TV for gaming and there's really not a solid set that's worth spending money on. I'm leaning towards 65" OLED but the input lag is stopping me at the moment. I wish Samsung would do a full array back lit display.
What? $1279 for a 65" KS8000 with full HDR10 and 4K and 22ms input lag right now. What is not solid? Yes the black levels aren't OLED level but come on. If all you care about is gaming, no OLED is even close to 22ms input lag right now.

Took 2hours for mine to show up. However if I searched for order number I saw it.
Impatient as I am, I called them and they confirmed all was good.

Picked up the 65 inch version using the employee pricing. Bit of a whim purchase. Haven't told the wife yet...
Sooo, honey... for Xmas, I got us a house gift this year... *prays*
Guys
KS8500 is cheaper than KS8000
So that's what I should order right?
Thanks for the invite again.
If you have an invite, please pm me. The ks8000 55in at $700 sounds as godd as it gets!
Something like that. Maybe just replace the old tv with this and see if she notices.
I still can't set up a perksatwork.com account due to the "email already in use" thing. Has anyone found a solid solution to this?
700 bucks for the 55 inch is a steal..heck if its that price I will make room in my bedroom by any means necessary LOL..is that 700 bucks before tax..Im in Cali so obviously sales tax here is through the roof but I would be willing to pay that amount for a 55 inch
As someone from Washington... 7.5%... "through the roof".
lol
we don't have State Income tax though so I'm 100% ok with this.
8500 is curved, that is the major difference. Depends if you want curved or not. Picture-wise they're the same.

isn't curve better? and usually more expensive?
I am puzzle by the pricing here. Curve comes out to be $30 cheaper.
I already ordered KS8000 but I am thinking if I should have ordered the curve instead or not.
